Olympic lose again today, they might need to beg their old keeper to come back.
Newcastle Olympic 2 - Sydney Olympic 7
Yawning gap between the 2 NPLS
Is it really that big, maybe for Olympic, but they did run 8th last year.
Magic beat Hakoah 3.1
Edgeworth beat Blacktown 4.3
Bonnyrigg beat Magic 3.2
Magic and Edgeworth seem to compete with the Nsw Npl sides. Yes Olympic have struggled with 8.0 and 7.2 losses to Wollongong and Sydney Olympic, but I think the top 4 nnsw would be competitive with most Sydney sides except probably Wollongong
Not a great start for Weston after two competitive matches in the Heritage Cup. A 2.1 loss to Edgeworth followed with a 1.1 draw with New Lambton eagles.
Are they playing their 20s squad in the cup like last year does anyone know
I've heard teams are required to play a mimimum 75‰ 1st graders to ensure the credibility of the Heritage Cup
Hence bringing the Plate into the equation for ZL teams. It's not perfect, but if NPL teams took the piss continually, the whole Cup would have fallen over
Heritage Cup is a competition that apart from Edgeworth lacks real star power. It needs at least Maitland to join?
Would have Crowley and Comerford over Clarke and Thompson every day of the week.
Tom Duggan is still at Maitland.
Plus the 2 fullbacks they have picked up are just as good if not better then the ones they have lost
I just seen Weston beat Kurri 14-0 and aren't they only 70 minute games? NNSW should reduce the competition next year or make the minnows qualify for the main draw. Minni forfeited a game midweek, at least Kurri had a go and they only had a two day break too. Interesting to see if New Lambton give Edgeworth a decent run?
Adamstown 2-0 over Merewether advance at HT. Not overly convincing so far
Maitland 6 Charlestown 1
Ben Martin back at Maitland??
Where did he go last year??
Olympic and Jets Youth 2 all. Anyone see it?
