Slightly older news but Charlestown lost 9-0 to APIA Leichardt first grade a few weeks ago during a pre-season friendly. It was ugly to watch. APIA must have scored 4 headers in a row within about 15 minutes.

Apia were down 4 starting players yesterday but Magic looks like there were 3 or 4 missing so I guess still a fair indication where both teams are at. A very solid win to Magic although the Apia boys were saying how big a difference, and draining, it is playing on artificial all the time and coming back to play on a wet turf field. In saying that though they were not happy with their performance.
Apia v Azzurri was the Charlestown Azzurri reserve squad . It was a charity cup day inclusive of 3rd tier Hamilton Azzurri .
Charlestown Azzurri firsts played Bankstown City Lions same weekend in Sydney and won 2-7
Broadmeadow Magic looked superb yesterday and will be team to beat 2021 based on yesterday performance.
Is Azzurri vs Magic still on tonight?

Don’t know what game you were watching. I thought both teams looked ordinary and whilst Olympic were slightly better the score probably flattered them slightly. I believe Adamstown also had about 5-6 players out too.Quote:
