It was a typo I meant 7/10. I know his goal was easy but he did well to assist Virgili and win the penalty

lets be realistic Kale will never play any higher than youth. Despite being a solid player in the goalscoring department he just doesn't have thay special factor that pushes him over the lime, who knows it could something as simple as having a shit attitude towards training/coaches/teammates
HA, you have got to be the one whose joking? Have you even been watching the games, virgilli has made many mistakes and has way too many chances the only thing going through that mind of his is me me me me. Are you forgetting that kale was the one who set him up with almost all
of his goals the last 2 games instead of thinking about himself he looks to give everyone else a chance. He also scored a goal and won a penalty so id say his more deserving then a 4/10 mate.
Kale Patafta  Nah, totally different type of player but definitely viewed in the same light by the manager.
Look at these blokes arguing about the Kale Fapfest meter :roflz:
We Hate Coast Scum
FT JETS YOOF 3 COAST SCUM 1
Decided to drive down to the Centre of Excellence for Coast Scum and take in the game. First thing to note is the place smells like shit as there is a sewerage works over the back. Second thing of note is that PV4 has his own reserved carpark in the place. Third thing of note is the place is a ****ing hole and I have no idea why PV4 faps about it
Jets included Mitchell and Goodwin with the kids and the Gypos had Fitzgerald Kwasnik Sterjovski and Anderson with their kids
Jets dominated first half and deservedly took a 2-0 lead into the break. Jets come out of the blocks well with Goodwin firing a freekick over the bar and Joey Gibbs seeing a 20 yrd strike richochet off the post inside the first 5 mins. After about 10 mins Kale through on goal and shot from edge of box drawing a great save from keeper. 15 mins in and it was 1-0 to Jets. Kale nipped in pilfered a backpass to the keeper, rounded him and slotted into the net. Very good finish from the lad as he was about 8 metres from the goalline and 18 yards out and slotted into the empty net when many would have blazed wide/side netting etc
Composure champion
Rest of the half meandered on with the Jets well in control and Gypos barely in our box. Jets kept flashing 1/4 chances at goal. they weren't really even chances. With about 10 mins before halftime a cross was floated to the back post where Pavicovic nearly pulled off a great goal where he struck it near post on the volley and nearly caught the keeper out as everyone was expecting the ball to be centred. Keeper done well to push out from a corner.
From the resulting corner 2-0 Jets with Pavicovic finding the net. Corner not dealt with and ball fell to Rad about 10 yards out and he lashed it home.
Second half was pretty even with little goalmouth action until Zane decided to **** things up for us. For some reason after Mitchell was subbed after 60 mins for the ,long awaited return of Mitchka Cooper the reshuffle seen Rad Pavicovic at RB. Why this happened is beyond me as rad can't tackle/defend. Anyways it gave the Gypos a springboard with their left winger reaping the space to fashion some chances. Eventually he laid one onto the head of Kwasnick fom about 3 yards out and even that hack couldn't **** it up. A few mins later Kwasnick was through and running at goal. Solari stood up and made a great save reminiscent of the great Birraz to cover himself in glory. Well done son
Mariners forced a series of corners with some great work again by Solari to keep the Gypos out on 2 occassions. From the 4th corner he plucked it out of the air and quickly released Kale. Now this could have been the greatest moment ever for the fapfest metre. Kale picked up the ball 25 yards out from goal and ran at the Coastie Scum Bloke glided past 1-2-3-4 and got about 30 yards out. Now instead of hitting the ball with the outside of his foot into the top corner ala Griffo from that game V adelaide years ago where Griffo went the length of the pitch and Nicky Carle ran interference for him kale laid the ball off to his onrushing teammate Bilic. Bilic with the goal at his mercy butchered an even better chance than what Zads butchered V Heart last weekend by smashing it weakly wide of the gaping goal.
Last 10 mins we controlled the game and in Injury time Mitchka cooper celebrated his return to after his knee reco by bagging 3rd. ball to the tp of the box on the back post found Mitchka. Defender held him up and jockeyed as there was **** all on. Mitchka through in a swerve dummyand a jig to open up a yard of space for himself. With that he cracked it right foot into the bottom corner across the keeper. Great goal manufactured out of nothing. Barely kicked off before 3-1 and the ref blew FT
Now for the all important Fapfest metre rating. I am going for a 6/10 Kale needs to do a lot more. He made some great turns, set up play well, took his goal with class but he needs to be more involved for the vast majority of the game. Militia do your thing
Great for Cooper, do his confidence world of good

Newcastle have claimed their fourth straight Foxtel National Youth League win with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Melbourne Victory on Sunday.
Fringe first-team players Joey Gibbs and James Virgili scored first-half goals for the Jets at AAMI Park.
The lively Francesco Stella had given the Victory a 14th-minute lead and they looked the better side until midway through the first half.
Both teams found plenty of space in the opening exchanges before Stella scored in fine style after 14 minutes.
The forward skipped past a couple of markers and saw his 20-yard effort take a deflection, leaving Jets goalkeeper John Solari helpless.
It was Stella who threatened again two minutes later and again his shot – this time from inside the area – was deflected, but hit the post and bounced out.
Christopher Cristaldo pounced on the rebound but could only hit the side-netting from a tight angle.
Stella was lively in the opening 20 minutes and had the ball in the net again, but his placed effort into the bottom corner was cancelled out for offside.
The visitors had few chances but took one of their rare opportunities when it fell on 35 minutes.
Virgili's deflected cross from the right found Gibbs inside the area and the former Western Sydney striker nodded in from close range.
Just five minutes later and the Jets were ahead thanks to Virgili.
Veteran Michael Bridges played the winger behind through the heart of the Victory defence and Virgili rounded goalkeeper Keegan Coulter before sliding his effort into an open net for his sixth youth league goal of the campaign.
Stella was at the centre of the Victory's best chance to equalise 10 minutes into the second half.
His through ball released Cristaldo down the right, but the attacker's side-footed shot was well saved.
With 18 minutes remaining, Mitchell Oxborrow almost doubled the Jets' lead but had his shot from inside the area kept out by Coulter's feet.
Cristaldo wasted a fantastic one-on-one opportunity with a quarter of an hour to play.
Jesse Makarounas' 25-yard free-kick with two minutes to play – palmed away by a diving Solari – was the closest the Victory came to equalising in the dying minutes.

[QUOTEBrisbane and Newcastle played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in their Foxtel National Youth League clash at Goodwin Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Roar came back admirably from a two-goal deficit to draw level, but it was the Jets who came closest to finding a winner with a flurry of late chances.
Craig Goodwin scored the opening goal for Newcastle at the end of a first half that was largely dominated by defence, before Mitch Cooper doubled the lead just after the break.
Brandon Borrello inspired a Roar fightback, however, scoring twice in the space of four minutes.
Earlier, Borrello almost got the Roar off to the best possible start when he pounced on a loose ball and bore down on goal, but his low shot was saved easily by Ben Kennedy.
Goodwin smashed a powerful effort against the crossbar for the Jets, then a few minutes later Kale Bradbery went on a marauding diagonal run, played a return one-two with Joey Gibbs, then had his low shot saved by Matt Acton.
In the 22nd minute Jai Ingham couldn't quite get a foot on a Borrello cross from the left in what surely would have been a back-post goal for Brisbane if he had made contact.
Chances were few and far between for much of the half, but the Jets nearly took the lead on the stroke of half-time, only for Mitch Cooper to scoop the ball over the bar from close range.
There was still time for the go-ahead goal, though, as Goodwin cracked it in from outside the box in first-half injury time.
Soon after the break it was 2-0 as Cooper combined with Gibbs in the area then coolly finished past Acton.
Borrello dragged Brisbane back onto level terms, however, with a quickfire double.
Borrello's first came after a superb though ball from Patrick Theodore, and the second off the back of some brilliant lead-up play from Lachlan Jackson.
A quick passing movement from the Jets on the edge of the Roar box gave Brandon Lundy plenty of space to line up a shot, but his effort flew wide.
The lively Bradbery had the ball in the back of the net for Newcastle with less than 10 minutes remaining, but he was adjudged to have been marginally offside when Mitchell Oxborrow crossed the ball.
Bradbery would have one more gilt-edged chance, but sliced his shot from Nicholas Cowburn's cross wide from close range, as the game opened up in the dying minutes.
Acton was forced to make one more sensational save deep into injury time when Lundy cracked in an effort from wide on the right.

****ing dis grace
Has Bradbury been playing on the left with Gibbs up front this season?
Depending on who's playing in the Yoofs
Kale will usually be striker 1st left side attacker 2nd right side attacker 3rd in that order of preference
Mostly been up front with some fair time on the left though
Gibbs has been playing a fair bit of no 10 in behind Kale
Cheers, do you think if he were to make it to a league level it would be as a wide attacker? Too slight a frame to be up top?

Newcastle have held off a fast-finishing Western Sydney to register an exciting 4-3 win in their Foxtel National Youth League Round 10 fixture at Wanderers Oval on Sunday afternoon.
The Jets took a 1-0 lead into half-time and looked to have sealed the contest when they went 3-0 ahead midway through the second stanza, but the Wanderers staged a spirited late comeback to ensure a thrilling finish.
The match began in warm, blustery conditions and it was the home side that started the better. Striker Kale Bradbery had the first chance when he propped inside the box but curled his shot just outside the far post before Mitch Cooper fired over the crossbar from the edge of the area.
The Wanderers worked their way into the match mainly through livewire winger Alusine Fofannah, who was causing the Jets' right-hand defence plenty of problems with his pace.
Newcastle goalkeeper John Solari was called into action pulling off a fantastic diving save to deny a goal-bound header from Daniel Alessi from a corner and moments later the Jets custodian did well to deny Fofannah who had weaved his way into the box and fired a low shot towards the near post.
The Jets took the lead with a well-worked play that saw right winger Radovan Pavicevic sprint onto a nice through ball and into the penalty area before calmly steering a low shot into the far corner of the net for a 1-0 lead.
Newcastle were dealt a body blow just before half-time when Cooper was brought down in a rough challenge from Yanni Perkatis and in the process the Jets forward suffered a potentially serious knee injury that saw him helped from the field as the home side went to the break leading 1-0.
The Jets increased their lead midway through the second half when Mitchell Oxborrow swung a free kick into the box that was helped by the wind to go over the head of substitute goalkeeper Thomas Manos and into the top corner of the net.
Newcastle added another goal just moments later when Bradbery did well to get on the end of a long ball and scoot into the box where he fired a low shot under Manos and into the far corner to make it 3-0.
The Wanderers pulled one back just a minute later when Nicholas Olsen fired a low shot to the bottom of the far corner to make it 3-1.
Newcastle looked to have sealed the contest when Bradbery scored his second goal four minutes from full-time when he took a cross from Pavicevic and showed great footwork and skill to poke home at the near post to make it 4-1.
To their credit the Wanderers never gave up and they made it 4-2 when skipper Jake McGing was on the end of a lovely cross from James Baldacchino to steer it in at the back post.
The visitors ensured a thrilling final few moments for the Newcastle crowd when substitute Sean Symons fired a sizzling shot from just inside the box that flew into the top corner of the net to make it 4-3 in injury time.
But the Jets held on for the final few moments to ensure they took all three points.

On another note sounds like the Kale Fapfest metre was approaching his groin :fap:
Yeh lets hope for the best for Cooper, be a bloody shame to see the kid have to go through another ACL.
So with the exodus of players/over age etc, will we see the Jets draw on local talents to fill the gaps in youth league?

At least we sign Griffo
Ahh why a midday game after a night fixture. Surely 5pm would be better.
I'm looking forward to the members assessment of todays 3-0 loss to Sydney FC.
Kale was absolute aids today and I don't think he's going to be playing at a higher level anytime soon.
Aids is a strong assessment. Bloke put on some nice touches here and there had a few shots blocked. Wasn't his day but it wasn't like he ****ed that much up
Good game for the first half Jets shading it hitting the bar twice. Second half the Smurfs slowly gained control and took the lead and then continued to tighten their grip on the game before running away late.
Thought it was more of a reflection as to how soft the Emerging Jets teams are. There was a good battle on with the game there for the taking. We just gave in first.
Head injury to Gibbs? I saw an ambulance leave the ground. Hope he is ok.
He lost the ball more often than he held on to it, most of his passes went to SFC players. Definetly not his day. In his defence though, he was playing a lot of the game back to goal. He looked a lot sharper when he had Gibbs alongside him.
Hate to say it but Gibbs is a good footballer. Not A-league standard, but definetly one of the better players at NYL level.

Melbourne Heart and Newcastle Jets have fought out a dour 0-0 draw in the Foxtel National Youth League at Epping Stadium on Saturday.
Ross Archibald struck the crossbar with a header late in the first half with the Jets' Radovan Pavicevic failing to bury a rebound just after the second half resumed.
The possession was shared in the first half with neither team able to create significant openings until the latter stage of the period.
Heart were the better side in the second-half but could not quite breach the goal with Jets' keeper Ben Kennedy in quality form.
After a chanceless opening 15 minutes, Jets' midfielder Mitch Oxborrow had the first strike of the game with his curling shot saved by the well-positioned Tando Velaphi.
Paulo Retre was pulling the strings for Heart in midfield and soon after narrowly missing a header in the six-yard box, the playmaker was involved in releasing Gol Gol Mebrahtu, who saw his pull back blasted over the bar by Marcus Schroen.
Newcastle's Kennedy has plenty of A-League goalkeeping experience which was demonstrated by a superb diving save from Jonatan Germano's scorching strike on 39 minutes.
As half-time approached, Heart's Archibald had a pair of golden chances; first blasting the ball over the bar after a goalmouth scramble before striking the crossbar with a looping header from Mebrahtu's corner.
The Jets had their best chance of the game straight after the restart as Oxborrow had his shot parried by Velaphi before the former Melbourne Victory goalkeeper clawed the ball off the line when Radovan Pavicevic attempted to side foot the rebound in.
Midway through the second-half, Matthew Bilic should have put the Jets ahead as he sprinted through on goal after a long ball but could only slot his shot just wide of the far post.
Mebrahtu was a constant threat to the Jets defence with his lay-off to Alex Dao resulting in a shot inches wide of the post before forcing Kennedy into a point-blank save with 10 minutes to play.
Heart did have one last chance to break the deadlock with substitute Stipo Andrijasevic clear header going straight at Kennedy in second-half stoppage time.
A point for both side's sees the Jets remain in second position, 10 points behind leaders Sydney FC while Heart stay in seventh position, one point adrift of the sixth-placed Western Sydney Wanderers.

Considering the other day I called a spade a spade and said Kale has been less than great this season **** these ****s at Jets HQ have been talking him up this weekQuote:
JETS youth team assistant coach James Pascoe is banking on dynamic duo James Virgili and Kale Bradbery to cause problems for a makeshift Glory defence in Perth today.
The Glory are without regular centre backs Alexander Castiello and Mark Barnett, who were sent off in the 5-0 loss to Brisbane Roar.
See your ad here
Virgili started on the right wing in the A-League squad's 3-1 loss to Melbourne Heart last round and has been sent to Perth to regain confidence.
"James is travelling and will play as a No.10. In among the group we have, that is where he will fit best," Pascoe said.
"The other bonus is that their two central defenders from last week were sent off.
"If we can get Kale and James, who are both flyers, running at makeshift defenders, I'm confident we can get some joy."
The Jets have dropped to third place, a point behind Melbourne Victory, after picking up a point from their past two games, a 3-0 loss to Sydney and scoreless draw with Melbourne Heart.
Perth are second last on six points.
"It's our first trip to Perth, which is always a bit difficult with the time difference," Pascoe said. "In saying that, the last two years we have come away with a win.
"A result is extremely important. We have aspirations to finish in the top two and need three points here.
"First and second meet in the grand final. If you finish third or fourth, you may as well be ninth and 10th."
Apart from Virgili, Michael Kantarovski (illness) and Mitch Oxborrow (suspension) return to bolster the midfield, forcing a return to defence for Nick Cowburn.
"That is the beauty of having someone as versatile as Nick," Pascoe said.
"He is a good technician with the ball so you know you are going to get some good football content out of him, whether he is at centre back or a little further forward."
im thinking you will see a turn around in Kale's performances especially if he has the right attitude. Zane in charge of the first team may be his last chance to push for senior appearances.
