FFA have pumped the "family friendly" approach to aleague games, massive numbers of kids with parents at the games...... Midweek doesn't really fit in with families going to games.
Crowd numbers probably reflect numbers of a-league crowds that are not attached to family responsibilities on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.

but i believe 50-70% of victory fans just won't go to etihad anymore as they think it is a shit venue for football (which i agree with).
