So, the Lake Macquarie clubs (Jnr & City) aren't affiliated?
My understanding is that they share some resources (aka Tredinnick Oval) but are run by different committees as different entities. City is the senior Club (NPL) and LMFC is the Junior (Community) club.
Similar to CCB (Lisle Carr) and Charlestown jnr (Charlestown Oval) or the two Beresfield Clubs.
Be interesting to see where City play their Zone League games. If at Macquarie Field it will be the best ZL3 ground by a mile.
Curious as to what players City will have.
Guys that tried out for NPL, happy to play ZL3 and be a part of the club?
Or has there been an All Age team playing making the step up?
any news on how Kahibah bypassed League 3 and straight to League 2?
Early days,
But how is everyones squad looking? Ability and numbers wise.
Id say Azzurri will be very strong, possibly should have gone up over kahibah.
Lake snr could be very strong.
Bolwarra will be strong again.
You would have to think those 3 would be favourites for top 4.
Hard to discount the others. Edgeworth could be big improvers. Dudley have some very good players but can be inconsistent. Abermain were a little inconsistent too.
Medowie to be leading the pack after 5 rounds with their latest star striker scoring all their goals.
How they look at the end of the season will be the real test though..
2 Maitland clubs in this league next year from what I've heard
Has there been any conformation on competition. Still 11 teams? Are raaf in?
likely to be 12.
RAAF will be there, they are looking at adding a Friday night over 35's as well the their club
Really?? Who is 12th team?Any more then it will have to be like mls, 2 divisions (east and west).
10 would have been ideal. Not so sure about 12
