In a war against the dead there aren't really any safe spaces. But the crypt would be infinitely the safest place in Winterfell for the women, children & Billy Zane. It's narrow so there can't be a squillion undead attacking at one time, it'll be hard to fit many in swinging cats and swords. If/when the undead take over the joint, everyone is fxxxed anyway. I doubt they're going to bother but it would be pretty dope if they brought the dead bodies in the crypt back, and Jon had to face off against his undead mother or better yet they brought Sean Bean back just so he could get killed again lol.Quote:

BUT I DID WARN YOU ASSHOLES
At the point where the books end and the TV show takes over, the whole game changed.
The brilliance of the show was replaced with the same corny shit every other show does.
dont get me wrong, its really well made TV, the visuals (on their comparative budgets) are stunning.
But last night was pretty weak ass story telling. the way 'all' the major good guys were alive at the end, despite everyone else getting dusted was lame. The good guys all got their 'hero' moment that was no doubt written into their contracts by some wack ass talent agent.
i mean, homie is up there yelling at the dragon in order to get the win.
ok.
its gonna wrap up in a pretty bow. and thats disappointing.
but hey, if thats your bag then great. but people out there giving out "greatest episode in tv history' type nonsense need to settle down.

They went to great lengths to make sure all the fans knew that Ed Sheeran got duly ****ed up.
They put that in there because of the blowback for the cameo. That was the showrunners saying, sorry guys, we are sorry we took a swing and you didnt like it. Here have some nice warm fuzzy narrative blanket to tuck you into bed tonight.
if i was in charge, after the fans whinged about old Ed, id have him come back in for a 2nd appearance. get him to take a dump in his hand then fling it at the camera. Or have a new character called "Superfan, Son of Moron" and have Ed beat him to death with a lute.
