Catch up game: Garden Suburb v New Lambton
1st: 2-0 New Lambton
Res: 1-1
3rds: 8-2 Gardo
Comes down to the last round.
Jesmond & Garden Suburb have the best chances of getting a result against New Lambton and Wallsend respectively.
Uni has a tough challenge against Cooks Hill.
IF Uni win, an Jesmond & Suburb both draw, Jesmond will be relegated on goal difference. For the second year in a row.
Crazy.
Jesmond & Uni play on the Saturday and Garden Suburb on Sunday. Suburb(s) will know if they're safe or if they have to get a result against Wallsend before they play.
Uni need to take some risks and throw some bodies forward. Nothing to lose at this point. Played way too defensively last week despite playing for their spot in the league. Such a shame for the lower grades who are quite strong and have been in the top couple consistently. As PV4 has said before it’s a shame when you have teams like Jeso who are 2nd last in every division. But thems the breaks
Current scores:
Butcher: 15
Moz: 14.5
La Baz: 10
LAST ROUND QUADRUPLE POINTS
Stockton v Maryland
DRAW
Maryland have hit form and last time these teams met there was only a goal in it. Over 4 goals in the game
WestLake v Azzurri
AZZURRI
Azzurri to win and the swedish captain to get off the nude run
Jesmond v New Lambton
NEW LAMBTON
NL put 5 past them last time - Both teams to score
Uni v Cooks Hill
COOKS HILL
GAME OF THE ROUND!
Whoever loses comes 4th and if there's a draw CH go 4th. But potentially the distraction of Uni fighting for survival in the league for first grade will have an impact on thirds? Cooks Hill to win by 2+
Wallsend v Garden Suburbs
SUBURBS
Suburbs to cement 2nd spot and rightfully so after a solid season in the big league. Goal to be scored by a defender.
any results from the weekend ? cheers
Better get on board this quadruple points train! You’ve done well to go through the archives and add up the scores Baz.

This upcoming weekend marks WL old boys and ladies day too so it will be a big day at Westlakes. For those who need reminding, the main event kicks off at 11am then there’s some support acts afterwards.
Wallsend v Cookers first and ressies finally got played last night.
Ressies 4-3 Wallsend, Wallsend were up 3-0
Firsts - 3-6 Cookers, Cookers were up 5-1
Cooks Hill 2-1 Uni
Thanks for coming Uni. Cya's in a year or so.
Suburb(s) and Jesmond survive.
Azzurri v westlake
3rds 6-1 with the swedish skip getting off the nude run (quadruple points much needed)
Stockton almost snuck in to 4th place.
It felt like the score blew out a lot more than 6-1.
3rds 1-6
Res 1-3
1sts 0-4
Well done to Azzurri, it’s a pretty mean feat to top the league in all 3 grades. Also the crowd at the ground provided good banter with our old boys and I like to think everyone was happy with the level of banter for the most part of the day.
All the best to the teams in the finals and may your camels only spit dates
New Lambton have done very well after promotion - We were definitely hoping to get Stockton instead
Is anyone from Cooks Hill on this forum?
If so, can you PM me re: some club information for the semi final match day program?
To all those involved in this weekends semi finals please be aware that we have a liqour licence at Alder Park.
So this means that you will be able to buy beers and enjoys yourselves, but it also means that you and your supporters wont be able to bring an esky of brews. We don't want to be dicks about it, but as part of the liqour licence people cant consume alcohol from another source on the premises (ie/ all of Alder Park).
We will need to have duty officers around the ground keeping an eye out, but can you all ask your players and supporters to help us out and do the right thing (as we will need to either confiscate beers (until the matches finish then you can come grab it back) or ask people to leave. We would obviously prefer not to have to do that, but will if we have to.
Cheers, Jordo @ NLFC.

Huge and deserved upset. New Lambton hosted a great day and deserved the win getting two earlyish goals. Blues missed one pen and scored another.
