VAR sucks balls but geez that was dope.
i dont know if Champions League stuff 'officially' comes into it, but Sterling or Son gotta win EPL player of the year right?
or maybe Virgil. Who else?
So does this now Spur City on and they focus on the EPL, don't drop any more points and win it? Or does this dent their ego and they falter on both fronts?
It all depends on how they respond against Spurs this weekend, or how United decide to come out against them in the wake of their exit as well.
If Spurs have any energy or motivation left they may give City a run. They are set up to really bother City now that lumbering oaf Kane is out of the picture.
Son and Erikson are too quick and clever for the likes of Kompany (cannot believe they still trot that dude out, Coutinho ended his career like 5 years ago).
United are a garbage team, they stand no chance of getting anywhere near City. Dont pin your hopes on them dropping points there.
I cant see City losing this from here.
Can't wait to hear Simon Hill's next rant.
Imagine being a City fan at that ground, how would you feel? Again, it doesn't matter to me if the decision is right or wrong. I would rather find out after the game that a decision was wrong than go through that - this thing will kill soon!
The online Eurosnob plastics love it because it comes across on TV as dramatic, but real fans are having a bellyful.
I’d be gutted if I was a city fan, after the elation of having scored the winner in an amazing game to have it taken away like that.
If City pipped spurs today, I’d have backed a spurs win, or close to it.
Now I think City will try out another 4 past them.
City have a squad to back up. Spurs don’t.
Hopefully Pogba and pals decide they wanna play football next week and get a result.
Other than that, I think City are champions.
oh how dope would it be if Spurs score a late equalizer only for it to be clearly offside and City get hosed because there is no VAR.
you can't jinx the Barca game - no one in their right mind would assume Liverpool will beat Barca
thankfully there are many Liverpool fans not in their right minds and a thriving gambling industry has developed to take their money
Across two legs I reckon they have us covered.
If it were a one off I reckon we could do it. Over two legs is tough. Barca are certainly not the force they were over the last decade though.
oh i dont think anyone is assuming it.
but Barca walk all over Spurs and Ajax.
Liverpool are set up to give Barca a real test.
United in the first 10mins had Barca rattled through forward pressure. United are trash and couldnt hold it. Liverpool play that way all the time so will maintain it for way longer than trash United.
Also, Klopp aint gonna die wondering on this one. Its gonna be fun to watch as a neutral.
Is it correct that Liverpool get the 2nd leg at home?
Arsenal keeping two clean sheets against Napoli is hilarious. Serie A is utter trash.
Chelsea conceding 3 to Slavia Prague and "hanging on" towards the end there was also hilarious. Stanny, was there any puckering happening on your couch this morning?
Koulabilaly is overated. Defensively suspect all the time and lost his head constantly.
Quick, good in the air and strong. But zero smarts. Barely worth €40 million.
Valencia vs Arsenal
Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt.
Turns out Frankfurt got through on an offside goal. No VAR in Europa. I hate VAR, but this is just gonna give it's supporters more fuel.
so it's still mathematically possible that there'll be four English teams in the two finals
a very good chance that the Europa winner will qualify for the Champions League via that route rather than the league
Anyone playing Barce has to contend with the ref as well. Because we cant have Messi losing before the final
Stanny, are you worried about facing Frankfurt? They run all game long across the park, play with 2 intelligent strikers and will have zero pressure against you. They've came past Marseille, Lazio, Shaktar, Inter Milan and Benfica too, so they aren't scared of Chelsea or Arsenal.
I would back Barcelona in a one off such as the final.
Over two legs though I can see Liverpool turning over a deficit at Anfield, no matter how big, if they have one of those nights where it clicks.
homie on the coverage just said that if both English teams win the Euro cups they still only get a max of 5 in Europe next year.
4th team in the Prem misses out 'if' the cup winners finish 5th and 6th.
How good Spurs how good.
