Not overly bothered with the price. Just as a comparison, Sydney Kings are playing Wollongong Wolves in a pre-season game in Newcastle. Adult tickets are $30.
A couple of decent pubs for pre/post-match bevvies in Maitland too.

In a cost-conscious league, it makes sense to play teams from within your state. We're also getting paid to play there (I assume).
I've got no problem with it and doesn't bother me that we play them. Neither team is going around bragging about a pre-season friendly win.
Preseason games against Getafe and one of the other teams have been cancelled.
Looking to organise trials against AFC opposition that are in the region on preseason also.
Why were the games cancelled?
So there's a fantastic story in the paperweb today about Qatar sabotaging everyone else bids for the 2022 cup.
and of course when discussing a story that happened about 6 years ago we include a big photo of Daniel Arzani and get the first quote from Robbie Slater who was no where near the story but just wanted to get his hot take in.
This is why Trump won.

Boogaard out for 3 games with concussion.

“The club is not in the business of taking any risks with concussion”. Interesting statement.
On that note.....Roy gets stuck in publicly...
https://www.theherald.com.au/story/5...me-suspension/
He made a very valid point about about the on field sporting qualifications of those who handed out his punishment.
As for Bolton is he really that stupid to truly believe people don't remember Smeltz and the impact he had on keepers, literally.
Jog on Clint jog on.
Well done Roy.
Just making it clear that in this league you can walk away with murder (or a ridiculous suspension) if you wear the right "big blue" jerseys.
In a final where the VAR mysteriously stopped working for 3 minutes, then started working again but mysteriously missed an elbow to Roy's face, hard enough to break a bone.
Business as usual...
clint bolton ffs :rof:
I like where he said Tsekenis was semi professional haha.
