There is even a couple of clubs in 6th with players and rosters who could rattle the cage of so called better clubs in higher divisions if all players available. NNSWF needs to provide more support to clubs in the lower leagues. Apply pressure to the various councils to give the lower leagues a chance to play on better pitches that can cope with a little rain. Why dont they pick a combined rep side out of each division at years end to play in an inter league cup from 2nd to 6th Division. I have seen teams like Simba, Olympic, Uni, both New Lambtons, Dudley, Mayfield Seniors, Jesmond ID1s ( this weekend), who feature players who would walk into NEWFM but work or Uni or family stops them. NEWFM is miles apart from NPL but not far off the better teams in the lower grades.
