I may be wrong but I've heard that Adamstown & Lakes also expressed interest in hosting the Grand Final. Adamstown have a great track record of hosting successful NEWFM Grand Final days and Lakes still in my mind have the best facility to view the Grand Final for spectators. The place hosted some fantastic Grand Finals in the 70's, 80's and 90's, yeah it's no Magic Park but the atmosphere in that ground on a Grand Final is 2nd to none in this area.Quote:
