Would rather them chase Burns hard then eventually look to a foreign no.10 ideally before the seasons starts. We would then have 4 or so proven goal scorers in this league amongst our frontline. We had a quality foreign no.10 in Leonardo and the "hardworking newy" crowd rubbished him because he didn't track back. Add him to this current squad and he'd be the missing link in providing the creativity.
I read that Adelaide are working very hard to bring in Burns and Mauk. They would seem a much better option football wise but Adelaide is a pretty boring place. Not getting my hopes up on Burns coming back to us.
One of the other teams just signed some dude.
I'd be disappointed if we signed Burns as a marquee. He's better than average for sure but he's not marquee material either on the pitch or off it.
