They keep showing the reply of Elsey blocking the pass but Le Fondre was offside when the ball was played to him for the goal?
On the balance of things, I'll take that result.
Le Fondre in the following play was offside. The SFCTV narrative though is to ignore that and whine about the play before.

2. What’s the difference if say, Elsey doesn’t block it, and the shot goes to Duncan who parries it to the offside player who scores, he’s offside right? Even though Duncan “plays” at the ball?
3. Unless Elsey passes it or heads it intentionally/mistakenly kicks it to him, he’s offside.
The “official” VAR image is of the shot/deflection/possession to offside player when ball was struck. So that’s as far as VAR got to assess the play.Quote:
