probs try and turn him into a right back
They talked a lot about it.
They made no excuses, but put a lot of the blame on the actions of the police.
I did though get a chuckle when they said "the supposed RBB members" about the dudes who were chanting "RBB ole ole ole, RBB ole, RBB ole ole" in the cops face in that video outside the stadium :rof:
Personally, I reckon both sides were in the wrong.
South Hobart have an interview on their website with Andy Brennan about signing a 2yr deal with the Jets. They're ahead of the jets
Totally disagree with the Police are in the wrong there.
They get a couple of hundred halfwits who they have told to move on advance on two of them in an aggressive intimidatory manner then the halfwits will get some response from the Police.
Not exactly rocket science.
You wish to piss the police off like that then don't moan about the consequences.
The whole issue is a problem caused by Wankers fans anyway tolerating the halfwits amongst them with the flares and detonators
I think the police were wrong in:
- not following protocol laid out before the season by the club, league, police, etc about how they would wait until half/full time to apprehend/charge/ban the people confirmed by CCTV, and barged into the bay.
- the 180degree spray they did in the bay, which had innocent people (inc women and children) in there.
- the carry-on by the policeman in the outside-of-stadium video AFTER he sprayed the pack of dudes, with the pretend crying, waving, etc.
- the police report saying no one had been put into hospital because of the incidents, which was a blatant lie.
I think the RBB were in the wrong for a list that is probably twice that length, don't get me wrong, but I thought I'd just put it out there that both sides of the story dealt with this extremely poorly.
hard to feel sorry for these bozos tbh
So 2 year deals for Brennan, Boogaard, Mullen and Ki-Je, meaning their contracts runs to the end of the 16/17 season right? Not the 17/18 season.
I think I've got the years messed up on the squad list
1 - 2015/2016
2 - 2016/2017
Was going off an old list where Boogaard was down under the 17/18 season...

Rumoured list should also contain Peter Crouch, Yojiro Takahagi, Rostyn Griffiths (because I made it up, and also because I saw him in a picture with Kanta and Neville the other day) and Mickael Tavares. Oh and Bernie Ibini-Isei.
And Dexter Rosales.

Brennan trained with the Jets a fortnight ago, having been identified by coach Phil Stubbins at the end of last state league season.
Playing for South Hobart, Brennan scored 25 goals in the Tasmania national premier league to finish as the competition’s second highest goal-getter, and won the league’s best and fairest award.
“He is a player that we’ve identified could turn into a very good player in the A-League,’’ Stubbins said in a statement.
Really? So why didn't we get the phucker with the most then? lol
22yo? Worth a try.
Should try and get Di Natale, proven goal scorer in a mediocre team.
He is leaving Udinese, MLS teams are looking at him, why not the Jets
