I was over there today querying them what they could do. Claims anything could be done if it didn't exceed the 10 number limit. Have an idea for a shirt and they said should be apples.

speaking of kits, has there been any update to to supposed gold (not yellow) goalkeeping kits we were rumoured to have this season? i noticed biraz & the reserve keeper wore green against the pissants.
judging by biraz's twitpic of himself in a yellow keepers jersey with this seasons font on it, i'd say we're green/yellow gk kits again and the gold kits that people supposedly saw were all bs

Mr pv4, I would like to know your opinion on the use of the lower case 'i' in all of the players names this season.
Por ejemplo:

http://i.haymarket.net.au/Galleries/...4438111_10.jpg
Ok so clearly it is some kind of league-wide font that is trying to be stylish by ignoring the existence of the uppercase representation of 'i'. We also appear to use it on our away kits:
http://i.haymarket.net.au/Galleries/...4046146_10.jpg
But not our home kits:
http://i.haymarket.net.au/Galleries/...4438099_10.jpg
it's a league-wide font. the lower case IS used for the home, it's just the white in between the line & dot make it look like a single stroke I.
it's a bit different, I like the new font.
New font is the same as used for football league in England if I'm not mistaken. Don't recall the lower case i being used over there though??
Hate it, also hate that all the clubs have to have the same font etc. Lower-case "i" is shit.
bravo
PV4 will probably be thinking the same thing, but what's with the Mariners playing in their home kit and having Matt Ryan wear lime green? Maybe it's the dodgy stream I'm watching it on but I can barely tell the difference. Why not think ahead and get a bright blue one like Melbourne Heart (also with Kappa) use for this?
Example:

Regardless, as a goalkeeper myself bright yellow + lime green seems ****ing stupid to me.
Still, bright green and yellow are pretty close to each other.
Not as bad as MV v Nix where Paston had a dark grey kit on against Victory's navy blue.....
navy blue and white keepers kits at the youth game today!
finally an E&C kit. Even if the green doesnt look right in that photo.Quote:
POLL: Jets fans chance to pick new away colours
http://www.theherald.com.au/story/14...-away-colours/
FOR the first time Newcastle Jets members will choose which kit the team take on the road in the next A-League season.
Jets members will receive an email from the club today at 9am with three designs to choose from for the team’s away kit. The club gave the Herald an early peek at the three shirts yesterday.
Voting is open to members only and closes at noon on May17.
The choice is between taking the Jets back to Newcastle’s football roots in the city’s traditional colours of emerald green and cinnamon brown; a white design with panels of red and blue; or a bold charcoal kit inspired by the mining industry.
The new design will replace the black and white striped away shirt, which was inspired by the traditional colours of Northern NSW Football representative teams. The red and blue striped home kit will stay for next season.
‘‘It’s fair to have the three there and not have us make the decision, but to let the fans make the decision,’’ Jets CEO Robbie Middleby told the Herald.
Hunter Sports Group copped criticism from some quarters when it announced in February 2011 that it was abandoning the Jets’ gold colours of the Con Constantine era in favour of the red and blue of the Knights, who are also owned by Nathan Tinkler.
Middleby said lessons had been from that experience.
‘‘We always want input from the fans, and we’re happy to have it,’’ he said. ‘‘This sort of thing is great for the fans and the members to have an input.’’
Asked if the gold worn by the Jets in their 2007-08 championship season was considered, Middleby said: ‘‘We mentioned it, but we thought of some colours we haven’t had.
‘‘Potentially we might look at that in the future, but at the moment we thought to have three options and they were the three options we thought of.’’
1. Green

Although make the green/emerald more like the mock-up on Heskey rather than the green in the smaller template thingo.
Get voting dawgs.
All 3 aren't bad options.
But e&c kit ftw
I would like a Green and brown design but don't really like that offering.
I actually like the charcoal design best the white one to me looks like the ****s have ran out of ****ing ideas like they did with the original HAL away kits
Actually like the black and white away strip...it's the home strip that needs tossin
Not the official poll, but Grey is apparently holding a 47% majority on the "Herald" site so far...
E+C all the wayyyy

Looks like ISC can't be arsed making or using a new design so have just thrown the stock Melbourne Heart template at us, even down to using the same 3rd Fan kit grey the heart fans voted for, how awesome we can have heart grey every second week. Probably want to get some use out of it now that the heart have ****ed them off.
E&C lacks gold trim & why do they insist on that stupid two tone collar thing looks crap, come on ISC you could at least try, how much longer do we have with these jokers.
Does the poll have a Slobs option?
Why is Heskey GREY in that picture?! Is that to highlight the brown of the pants?
even when they get it right they'll ruin it
Our club is seriously the shittest club ever!!
Those 3 strips are the ugliest things I have ever seen!!!
The white looks like a training shirt, the grey is just disgusting and has nothing to do with the coal mining industry, and although the Emerald and Cinnamon is traditional Newcastle, the use of Brown shorts is ugly as all hell plus the shirt design is massively lame!!
I wonder why we support this club sometimes...they serve up so much shite!!
the green is choice, it wont get up though
maybe they should put a big jetpilot sticker on the back to make sure it does
Anybody who doesn't vote for Emerald and Cinnamon is a dead-set Gypo! IMHO
the foz has the opportunity to sway the vote in favour of the mighty emerald & cinnamon.
if everyone who trolls/reads/prospers on this foz votes in the correct way, we won't be playing in grey next season.
do it.
Emerald Green has taken the lead on the Herald poll. up by 10%
