When Shenzhen Ledman (sp) came out and I saw them at Speers Point ground training, they were wearing either Adidas or Nike gear. Just chuck us in some of that if need be.
Far out, and they're going to get some random to design up some kits and probably get the lady at the front office to pick between two options and it be a total fxxxing disaster of a design too.
Why can't they just consult with the membership base on kits, just once.
remember when the fans got it right and the club got it WRONG
oh yeah that's every week at the jerks
The Herald article has the lsit of kit suppliers for all the clubs.
Again, we have gone with an unknown brand. Hopefully we have made the right decision in regards to this.
But it would have been nice to have had a known brand.
who buys this shit hahaha ffs
what a bargain basement operation these jokers are
Was stated that Puma was supplying kits and gear only. Then went with a Chinese mob who was offering a bunch of cash too. That fell through for unknown reasons. Then this Aussie mob offered cash and gear.
I still have my Jets Reebok Jacket from season one or two - why did the club ever stop using that gear ? it was brilliant.
that's it, I'm cancelling my membership
this kit supplier is so bad that I'm not able to look at these abominations so I can't watch games anymore
Viva Le Jets
imagine getting a kit sponsor that provided merchandise that people actually wanted to purchase and wear, what a novel revenue stream that could be
stupid idea.
At the very least I hope Joel got a quote off Adam
Jobs for the boys.

The section on sponsorship though is even more worrying:

LOOKING FOR SPONSORS
Meanwhile, Jets chief executive Lawrie McKinna said the club was struggling to attract major sponsors, partly because Chinese owner Martin Lee was perceived as someone who could afford to bankroll the team on his own.
“That’s a bit of it, yes,” McKinna told the Newcastle Herald. “Exactly that, which is really unusual because this is when we need people to help so we’re not just relying on a rich owner to keep propping up the club.
“You’ve got some people who might go, ‘Oh, Martin’s there, we don’t need to get involved with the club, but that’s not how it works.’”
The Herald reported last week that Lee had lost about $3 million on the club in his first year as owner, bringing his total outlay to more than $8 million after paying the FFA about $5.5 million for the franchise 12 months ago.
“The more successful we are on the field, the more members, the more people through the gates, and then when we start selling a couple of players, then all of a sudden quite quickly you can actually cut that loss down and then get it to a sustainable loss where you hopefully break even,” McKinna said.
“He’s never wanted to make money. His long-term goal is to break even. His long-term goal is to build up the team, spend more money on the team, make the team competitive, but it’s not to make money.
“It’s to break even and build up his football business around the world.”
McKinna said an expected funding increase from the FFA this year would make little difference to the club’s bottom line as the salary cap would also rise.
Are we wearing emerald and cinnamon this year?
Do Ledman Group teams tend to wear the same colour (e.g. red, like most Chinese teams)?
I'm anticipating we'll be wearing netball tops this year, anything more sophisticated than that will be a bonus, let alone choice of colours...
Play in skins.
On a side note, how much more polished were our old Reebok kits, classic simple football kit designs, signature colours helping create a unique "Jets" identity and Reebok at least had the ability to know what shades of colours work well without attempting to sear people's eyes!
Also bring him home Griff!
