Slow, boring with a bit of whodunnit. I cannot get through it.

In those days peeps played with a barrel hoop or went to the flicks.

But with any artistic show beauty is personal. I still enjoy the 1939 Goodbye Mr Chips where others might not.

Watched the other night. Its easy no masterpiece, but watchable... Alot of CGI.. Has a feel to it that its setting up for another movie..

i just went and saw The Last Jedi.

*SPOILER FREE POST COMING UP DONT STRESS*

the first half was ok, the 2nd half was fantastic.

like, really fantastic.

will need to give it time to settle and see how rewatchable it is. i mean the first half really dragged, id love to have seen about 30 mins of the first half cut out but the time added to extend the 2nd half set pieces because once it kicked off it really kicked off.

there are some really cool twists and turns, and it sets up the 3rd movie pretty well.

you can also see why the director got given a new 3 movie deal to explore the Star Wars universe without Jedi and the force.

i got mad that there were a few 'disney' moments.
i wish they had learned more from Rouge One where not all heroes need happy endings.

anyway, as always, i remember back to the Phantom Menace and how happy i was in the cinema watching it but really it was only the 5 minutes of Darth Maul fight scenes that were any good in that movie. time will be the judge.

if you like star wars though go see it.

also, Plague Jnr (8) was fine, its plenty kid friendly.

Seen it a second time last night still fantastic to me. 9/10 rating didnt change

I'm with Plague. I enjoyed it and all, but I didn't walk out thinking "WOW!" like Ep7 and Rogue One.

I'll reserve judgment until I've seen it again (and again and again)

Saw it. Was pleased. Will see again (and again and again) before making judgement call.
