You can tell it?s grand final week. Even by this threads standards the tensions are high. I think everyone just needs to cool off a bit and look ahead to the actual football being played this weekend.
Sunday brings a close (at least temporarily) to the best rivalry in Newcastle football in recent years and very rarely does this fixture not deliver.
If you are free Sunday afternoon get down to Darling St. Zone league football has a different atmosphere vibe to NPL and is far better imo.

It?s all been happening this week. But the football is just around the corner. Weather forecast is good and fittingly the last 2 games of the year are the fiercest of rivals going at it for the last time (I think Suns will be next promoted)
There has been some extra petrol thrown on the fire as if it needed any.
Good to see Uni through to a GF and we?re 2min away from a first grade GF. Super season for Uni as a club. No one had them in their top 5 at the start of the season let alone that close to a GF.
Sunday should be 3 good games. 3rds I think Dudley to strong a few more that have been there and won it before 2-1
Res and First toss a coin. Should be quality football. Very physical and could go either way but hopefully Dudley?s.
Again this comp has provided the most competitive comp on the field and been pretty even. Off the field the most action also. Hopefully Sunday lives up to it

What an entertaining game. A full credit to Dudley from a neutral person. It isn't easy playing with 8 against 11 at any game or level. Their CB won't forget his two error (miss clearance in 96"), and giving away a penalty later. Congrats to Suns for the GF, and Dudley for promotion and playing in NewFM.
My afternoon was well spent.
To be fair all 3 reds were 100% correct decisions so Dudley can only point the finger in one direction.
1st Dudley goal a clear handball by the way.
Nonetheless, a massive effort from them and Suns doing their best to bottle it was quite a spectacle.
Ref had a shocker on the DOGCSO, should have let advantage play and knew he'd stuffed up immediately.
Olympic as always put on a good event and the crowd was great.
Well speaking as a neutral , We must have watched a different game. The only mistake the ref made was not playing advantage on the second send off.Quote:
