Wasnt Taggart a young bloke from another club not really getting a run when we signed him?

yet at 19 will be in minimum wage and is a player in an area we need to strengthen. Worth a punt, and with Ono ahead of him at WSW for last two season where was he going to get game time?

I doubt we'll be signing Conflakes now. We have a 2 front line defenders - Kew & Madaschi.

Madaschi is a great signing.

Plus a rumour of Boogard now. Makes sense... local kid, phils knows him from adelaide. Shame he is a dirty gypo!

Well the rumour I heard was a former Adelaide defender, so Cornflakes and Boogard fit the bill. Depends how much room we have in the cap and how much depth we want in vital positions. We will have strengthened immeasurably having Kew, Madaschi, Cornflakes/Boogard and Regz as our CB options.

Hopefully this random kid and Chris Harold weren't the two attacking mids he was talking about. I don't know enough about both too say they're bad signings, but I'd rather have a combination of Burns, Flores and Ambrose over those two

If Barresi signed a senior contract that takes it up to 20 spots. + colombian striker 21 + AM + maybe an extra CB = 23 full squad.

It really annoys me that we waste spots with very average players like Virgilli/gallo/pepps.

Replacing Taggs would be a given when he leaves

This article today quoting Stubbins on a singular CB and multiple AM's. Not sure how expensive Boogaard would be but I would say there in no chance we are bring Cornflakes back from Korea now we have signed Madaschi. Barresi would be one of the AM's. If we are going to play with a dedicated No 10, which sounds like we are, we needed a backup.
