Have just been informed though that it's not spelt 'sorrow' it's some ****ed up variant but it's pronounced the same.
The league shouldn't be run by either FFA or the clubs imo. But if its a choice I'd prefer it to stay with the FFA

Thoughts?
Very simply - feel free to implement technology to rid referee mistakes IF you also attempt to eradicate the mistakes made by players and coaches on which the very game depends for results.
Human error is a major part of all sport.
This is very much a Fox initiative.
Problem being coaches, public and commentators alike have no problem destroying the reputation of refs after viewing still images of offside calls where there is a step in it.
I see it as an inevitable evolution in professional televised sport, but what I prefer is a referral system that puts the onus back on the captain.
the problem I see is that (for any type of referral/review system) is that the game doesn't stop in many instances that would be worthy of review. there's no play the ball/scrimmage/bounce/serve etc like there is league/NFL/AFL/tennis that naturally stops the game to enable a review.
Would have to be in the act of scoring a goal, penalty decisions or free kicks. Case in point Boogs clearance away from Krishna. A replay there would have cleared that quickly and confirmed the refs call. Could not beleive Bosnich still thought it was a pen.
If you look at other sports, rugby league is a joke. Players constantly appeal for reviews and refs are scared to make a call on their own. The result is constant delays due to replays.
I like the cricket system of referral because it provides an incentive to captains not to appeal for a review unless they think it's worthy rather than just for the sake of it.
"we must eliminate all human error from the game unless that human error is from a player or coach or executive so pretty much just the referees but not all the time just some of the time"
God i hate this person, whoever you are.

So us Jets fans (and others) don't have say about a "patch" of turf that was relaid not long ago after alot of lobbying by us and the FFA for the Asian Cup.
But of course the Knights "own" Newcastle......
Would be interesting working out the corresponding Jets patches of great moments.
Griff free kick v Roar, Tarek final goal, Rooney ACL goal...wherever Corbo butchered someone.
Halitit's wonder strike vs the NZ KNIGHTS
But they probly just selling the turf to get the smell of losing off it. Or because the tears of knights players arent helping the grass grow. Thats why the water the grass before jets play. 'Make sure all the loser footy tears are washed away. Losers!!

did Pav, Cooper or Brennan get a run? (obviously not much impact though if any of them did...)

lei lei starting this weekend.
If we can sell Ma back to the Chinese Super League, credit where it's due, that would be an excellent piece of business.Quote:
Lei Lei may not be the only player on the move during the January transfer window.
“People are suggesting the club is not interested. We are but we have 23 players on the roster,” McKinna said. “If players do not want to move we can’t force them out of the club.”
McKinna ruled out signing a player to a guest stint.
“We want to strengthen the squad long term,” he said. “Start the building process in January and continue it on in the off season.”
I think we all know who Lawrie might be referring to with his statements above as well.
I thought last year was the rebuilding year?
