we sign a player who we think can maybe guide us to finals then if he does well sell him in January, which leaves us a good player short and once again have a lack of quality players to push for finals

Literally beat me to this.
We slate the club for signing a bloke who hasn't played in 5 years and now it sounds like our season hinges on a bloke who copped a barrage on social media. Now we could potentially sell him and make some money and the club are a joke for doing this
I'm confused.
The club hates us. We hate the club.
Griff loves all.

Robbie Keane also linked with a move to WSW and Brisbane Roar.
It would obviously be Robbie's dream to play for WSW - a team he supported as a boy and also a club that founded football.

"“Rather than just go to local businesses and take their money for sponsorship we want to make the relationship two way,” McKinna said.
McKinna and Liu met with Cessnock Council on Wednesday and Tianjin Teda general manager will arrive on Friday to inspect facilities."
Jets doing... good.. things .. off the field?
Could you imagine the club signing Maclaren and Spiranovic for next season...I've no idea how this joint would respond. I think it would implode.
Imagine them being coached by Mark Jones...
We should have looked at McLaren when he moved from Perth. I remember saying this (blowing my trumpet). It was really a no brainer when he was banging in goals over West. Now I believe he'd come at a much higher price.
Just look at Birraz, wasn't out the door two seconds when he got the phone call :gent:
At the stage I was calling us to sign him he was a fringe player at the Glory. Much like Taggart. There was a guaranteed opening for a striker at that point in time which would have given him a starting berth every week. He was not a Socceroo at this stage. The Jets would have been an attractive option if it weren't for the off field dramas.
Instead he picked the roar and the rest is history.
This doesn't seem like it's going away any time soon:

Let us not forget that there were a large majority of fans who fapped over Michael Bridges taking the ball to the corner flag for a good few years there.
