I really couldn't give a **** what Heart are doing

I backing they will sign a competentish squad and will be in the playoffs and go close to winning the titles

We on the other hand need to improve dramatically to make the semis

I don't see how going and smashing some massively inferior opposition 16-0 six or so weeks into pre season is doing anything for us ?


When the season rolls around our key players will be our DM GK and Back 4 as they the blokes who going to be busy every match

Having a turkey shoot for the strikers is achieving little because it ain't replicating much of what going to happen in season

They may as well have played witches hats the other night

If you think the repeated failings of this club are acceptable then that is more of a reflection on you

Because as far as I concerned this is the banging your head against a wall and expecting different results

Every year we have a weak as piss schedule of pre season games

Every year when the pressure in the HAL is on we fold like a cheap suit

Maybe it time we try something different??

Such as work hard play hard all year round and raise standards at the club

It works!

Hoole apparently scored a brace in the Gyppos 2-3 loss against Melb Shitty so I am guessing we should give them a reasonable challenge (shame it's behind closed doors)

It larfs all round as no one at the club actually has anyone accountable to be the best

Quality of players
Quality of opposition
Expectation to win

They all required at this club


Don't understand why we need to spend our time trying to smash some part time jamokes in pre season

The par level we need to reach is A League level and the proof is in the pudding where we are at with that

I hope the goodwill from the trip outlasts the debate around the result because it's neck and neck

Hopefully these games gather us more Jets fans who will hopefully attend more games. Thats what this trip is about

Ben O'Neill, Jets Media Manager for those who don't know the name, has announced he's leaving the club and heading to the FFA. I've had a lot to do with Ben over the last few years with the podcast, player data and Wingman material and he's been professional, flexible and helpful.

He's being replaced by Matt Townsend is replacing him. He worked with Lawrie at Gosford Council, according to an article by Barry Toohey that was tweeted yesterday.

Ben is good people.
Good on him for the new gig.

The song is part of teh club's soul - and if they change it they'd be removing part of what we are.

But hey, everything else appears up for grabs regardless of the history in the joint so why not.

Eye Of The Tiger is the most hackneyed "fire up" song of all time - utterly sick of it.

My fave A-League theme is City's - different and you can't help but feel good.
