Although we came into our own in the last half hour, I think it had a lot to do with WSW losing Baccus and Herd.
Although we came into our own in the last half hour, I think it had a lot to do with WSW losing Baccus and Herd.
I think it had a lot to do with a couple of things
You never ever dominate the game 100% and your rival is always going to have a spell on top
I think the goal obviously lifted the Jets
I think the fatigue of 3 games in 8 days started to catch up with WSW also
I think the left back was either injured or busted also gave us a good option to exploit in the final 25 mins also
The removal of Brown seemed to help us. Can't say we have looked good really with him on the park all season really. His introduction has usually coincided with Vargas going off and our attack has got noticeably almost non existent afterwards
Add in the loss of their CMs that helped too
Many reasons why
Nabbout has not had a decent shot on goal all season!! Needs to work hard on his shooting this week
Merrick saying Brown did a good job?? Ummm what? Also If he is a defensive player as Merrick says why have him in an attacking position with the attacking style we want to play
He's plugging a hole for the moment and playing out of position. If its the worst problem we have then it isn't too bad
I thought Brown had his contract extended after only making a handful of appearances. That would make him Miller's initial signing and the extension under Miller.
Could be wrong however ageing memory and all.
I reckon he would be on decent coin and honestly he is not contributing enough to be using up a visa spot.
No I blaming the experienced campaigner in the Gypo for not telling his rookie coach to slow down on the move as one swallow doesn't make a summer etc
McKinna been around the traps to know patience and wait and see was needed not a knee jerk reaction which was the case with signing Brown for a couple more years based on a couple of goals
