I think that Jets/HSG have been burnt enough times by Dillon in the past and that it's reached this stage where they have a total media ban on him. This isn't just the Bridges incident where he has deliberately tried to make a big story out of nothing. He seems to try to put a negative spin on situations/incidences in order to paint the club in a bad way. Gee I even remember back when Nicky Carle wanted to go overseas with Con's blessings and he lambasted Con and the club in the Herald for "letting" their star player go. Yes - and that is one of the disappointing things, the Herald were not there to report it and relied on rehashing a Sydney report.
Why would the herald send someone to Sydney when they are not permitted to talk to anyone from the club, they probably got more answers by not being their and getting Hassett to ask questions then if they had turned up.
Don't see what the big deal is, Heskey is coming to Newcastle, plenty of opportunity for the herald reporters to conduct one on one interviews with Heskey, oh except they are banned from talking to him, a decision that rests entirely with HSG....
