Hearing more and more that we won't field a NYL this coming season.

I think it is probably bullshit since we are looking at putting another team in the NBN competition (U19's or something), and so not playing in the NYL would kinda be a step back from playing year round football.

From where?, cockerill's article in the SMH, it also said we wont be fielding a W-League team and that was sorted over a month ago.

He Cockerill didn't say the jets would not be fielding a womens team. He said they had not committed to it yet. or words to that effect

I'd consider this a commitment, what more do they need to do?

A new coach has already be appointed for the comming season, surely that is proof enought that the women jets are confirmed.
