My condition is I have a pericardial cyst which one day will need to be removed if it gets too large. it's not life threatening in my case per se but it can obstruct the way the heart functions and cause anxiety and so on......
Suffice to say though, I've had pretty much every test known to man given my condition and family history.
How my condition was discovered was not from any of these tests - it was when I broke several ribs and it showed up on an x-ray then was confirmed with a ct-scan.
My cousin was tested as well and found to be ok but sure enough an autopsy proved otherwise.
Hence, a lot of this shit comes down to luck - good or bad.
