Was he using a fake i.d. to get into the games?
I'm confused here lads.

At this stage Kitto+Clut+Anyone who can spell the word 'football'> Hoole.
I must be a Jets supporter. I was so excited when the little goal symbol popped up next the jets on my phone and then equally deflated when it also said 'Hoole', haha. We are a bunch of prvcks around these parts, aren't we.
We needed a supporting #10 though and Clut has showed he is capable, versatile and has an eye for goal.
Kitto pretty much plays one position and his goal scoring is pretty debatable. Don get me wrong, If we could have offloaded Pav & Brennan then I would have been more than happy signing him.
The club put us in the position in 14/15 that we would need to sign 3 x u20's for 16/17 yet have the likes of Brennan on a 2 year contract. That screwed our ability to recruit IMO
Both their goal scoring records are shit.
Kitto looks more dangerous though, akin to Nabbout atm.
If you have penetration down the flanks then you're halfway there. Same reason I think we should've kept Virgli. He causes issues with his pace. Just teach the ****s how to cross or when if doubt hit the **** out of it low across the box. Goals will come. Especially with clever strikers like Nobby in the guts.
I don't think even Virgili thinks we should have kept him. You can coach tactics, formations and fitness into senior players. If you can't cross by the time you are 22 you probably aren't going to learn. Virgili had a decent A league career but the league has developed beyond the level of some players, which is good for the game.
I understand what you are saying though, in regards to pace and penetration. I personally think that Nabbout is showing his class because of his touch and thought process rather than speed, Clut has attributes closer to Naboout than to Kitto so i would rather keep him.
That's not the point, you can't just stockpile right sided attackers and expect to have a squad or a team. Kitto cannot play #10 or #9 and Clut is doing an admirable job as a back up for these positions.
Miller 100% made the right call to sign Nabbout over Kitto, and might I add it wasn't at all obvious before the signing. No one wanted Nabbout but Miller saw what was there.
You want to blame anyone for not re-signing Kitto and that is Stubbins. WTF he thought was a good idea to give an absolute rookie in Brennan a 2yr deal is beyond me.

Herald being a bit over-keen with a season photo round-up already I think, like to think there's more to come... ;)
http://www.theherald.com.au/story/42...s=3398#slide=1
Good to see some positive coverage from the Herald, had to flip about 6 pages yesterday to find any mention of the Knights.
On a day when the major news story is a tragic accident that resonates with a lot of people, the Herald (and sister publications) have the entire front page dedicated to advertising a TV steaming service.
Anyone relying on any of these type of organisations for their 'news' these days is seriously misguided.
Just tune into NBN where the sports wrap up goes like this...
Rugby League...NRL....RU.....AFL....more league.....supercars.....surfing......Knights..... "back to rugby league"......then local sport where the Jets appear three times a week.
Seriously, there are more surfing stories on NBN than Jets stories - is it really that popular?
Interesting question.
At the moment I'd say there is more 'going on' in the world of surfing than the world of the Jets.
Both world titles have recently been decided. One to a (first time) Australian the other to probably the highest paid and most popular surfer on the tour.
Throw in a Newcastle bloke doing ok on the tour (local angle) and the historical aspect of it on our city (I mean the bloke with second most world titles ever can be found down at the beach most days and is amazing with the time he gives anyone wanting a chat etc). So yeah it's a fairly big deal.
But, your point should not be lost on the Jets management that at the moment, with the chasm of interesting and relevant sporting stories out there, are they doing enough to command the spotlight?
Are they making players available for media? Are they providing relevant 'content' for anyone out there to give a toss about?
Yeah game highlights are great but by Tuesday everyone has moved on, and it's to far til the next game.
The thing with NBN news is it is segmented - the first part of the sports wrap goes to all NBN networks, the second is Newcastle only. That is why you get NRL, AFL and other football in the first break. This is where surfing usually is and has been for some time. The Jets and Knights are usually in the second localised segment.
NBN is full of sharkf****ers. Even Gav raves more about the surf than the weather when he is on!
I'm not blaming anyone, I just think it was a shame that Kitto left as he looks a good prospect.
Not sure how you know that Kitto couldn't play 10 or on the left. FWIW I prefer inverted wings in any event, particularly when you have a team like ours without a genuine target man at the moment. Hoole isn't left footed and he's playing on the left...
Just because you have a few extra right footers doesn't mean you're stock piling in one position. I would prefer to look at who's going to give you the most penetration and worry defences the most, rather than who fits a particular pigeon hole.
Can we stop talking like Kitto was a chance of staying and it was the clubs fault for not resigning him please? Its been stated ad nauseum that he wanted to return to Adelaide and his family and the Jets couldnt convince him to stay.
Not anyones fault, much like it wasnt anyones fault Taggart returned to Perth, Nicky Carle returned to Sydney FC, etc.
It happens, stop blaming ppl for the sake of it, build a bridge, stfu........:soapbox:
I wasnt blaming you specifically, it was directed at the large number of prior posts whinging that we hadnt kept him.
And being one of the admins of this forum, I feel perfectly I'm in the right to tell ppl to stop harping on a particular point that has already been stated multiple times to be erroneous.
So there :p
Controversial
I am all for players wanting to set themselves up them after football these days as thats society... but really?
Kanta theory.. Before went and started at uni... good... since then hasnt developed, clearly stagnated..
Studying isnt a walk in the park, maybe for some first year but as it goes on... Alot of stress at times.. ofcourse they have a little bit special cricumstances and support but still.....
These are supposed to be professional footballers.. thats there job period... (not some part time gig, bar tending on the side to help with studying)...

anyway,
there's always some room for giving players stick when they leave. Our badge is the best regardless of anything and all that n stuff
Just did a quick stats check on each teams website.
Shots/Shots on target/Goals
Clut - 4/3/1
Kitto - 1/1/0
Hoole - 1/1/1
Total Passes/Success Rate%
Clut - 40/72.5%
Kitto - 37/54.1%
Hoole - 95/70%
Assists/Chances Created.
Clut - 0/3
Kitto - 2/8
Hoole 1/10
Clut and Kitto have played about 180 mins each. Hoole has played the full 270 mins.
So the point of this is that stats are useless, since Hoole is stealing a living as a footballer.
Which also must mean that Jeterpool has been wasting his time and should have been catching pokemon instead, sorry.
