Architect's did a song called Memento Mori a while back and it's very awesome. 8 mins of fun.
But instead of linking that here is one of my favourite tracks of all time.

It's ok.. Do i need to refer you to listen to Ruin again? haha
Ok, went down a bit of a caffeine-induced Youtube rabbit hole this morning and came across this one..
Piano covers of Killswitch Engage.. Brilliant!!

That piano cover is awesome. Oh anyone else still frothing over Polaris's new album?

I mentioned this in the famous dead peoples thread but thougth it worth noting here.
It's 40 years today since Ian Curtis of Joy Division chose to leave this mortal coil.
Glass - A classic example of the raw, driving energy this band created, polished off with Martin Hannett's visionary production.
His mixing and subliminals are the icing on the cake.

I love this song on their compilation album Still. It's best served as the entree to The Only Mistake...
IC RIP
Today Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper
This is one of Cyndi Lauper’s biggest hits. When I hear it, you think of all those missed moments you could have said what you wanted, but didn’t. You wonder: What if?
Does anyone like jowics new song? Dronish for me, seriously needs a bridge of some sort.
jowic song slaps
I'm quite enjoying the new Ghost Inside album

Can't wait to see the results in 20 years time from women who listened to this while pregnant.
Stanny... I've gotta say.. That was pretty damn good..
Some nice meat-and-potatoes chunky metalcore.. Reminds me a lot of some older Hatebreed (but with a bit more production value)..
The whole time I was listening, I was waiting for the melodic sing-a-long whiney chorus, and it didn't come!!!
Meanwhile whilst working from home I've been re-visiting some classic Swedish melodic death metal..
In Flames before they "did an Opeth" and went soft - not that there is necessarily anything wrong with it, I just prefer their harder stuff..
Production obviously isn't the greatest (it was 1999 after all), but there is just something about the riffs and tone of the guitars that are really evocative to me..

Aaaaaaand Misery Signals are back..
New album coming out this week, can't wait for the rest of it..

These guys are great. Satchel is a killer guitarist as well.

Hair Metal and Super Strats. There's never been a more fun era of music to play.
Hahaha yes mate!!!
All of the tomfoolery, swearing and vagina talk aside, their musicianship is absolutely amazing.. Satchel can play.
Check out his guitar/drum solo medley thingy he does, I've seen him do it live a few times:

Hottest 100 hard this year.
For the older sweats.
Kevin Godley (ex 10cc) has released a very different and fresh solo album, Muscle Memory. Actually released every single track as a single weekly up to release this week.
At 74, still a very talented individual. the album was written around musical pieces sent in by fans.
As one of the great music video directors, this one is as quirky as ever - and still a brilliant voice.

What time do all the Boomers come into here and say how much JJJ sucks nowadays, a Hottest 100 tradition on the internet, ultimately admitting they are just Grandpa Simpson's and have loss touch with the popular culture of today? Haha.
2JJ is crap now and it was crap then, barring the Goons and Roy and HG
I'm just glad we had some heavy music in the countdown
No way mate. Im so hip to the new stuff and personally love the fact we live in a world where Taylor Swift is not acceptable but we have *checks notes* Billie Eilish, Drake and Machine Gun ****ing Kelly in there.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Its got to be so tiring to be so woke these days.
Anyway, looking forward to the day Tay Tay announces she's 1/64th indigenous and does a duet with Tame Impala and we get 100 tax payer funded think pieces about how "if she can change and I can change then we can all change".
Wankers.
Was just about to whinge Polaris didn’t make it. Then they came in at 171.
Imo, better than architect’s animals.
Had money on heatwaves very early on, so that was pleasing.
Don't normally go for the country music..
But Wheeler Walker Jr. has got me thinking its not too bad..
Pretty sure he is the Steel Panther of the genre..
