I saw them at Speers Point last night. Relentless, fast, and skilful. Throw a former A-League striker in the mix and it?s easy to see why they have been so successful.
Good luck to them - the comp has improved incredibly in recent years.

No doubt - that?s the nature of tiered competitions.
They would be at least mid table in ZL1 with the current team based on what I saw. They?ve conceded only 9 goals in 18 matches, which is outstanding. They press hard, all across the pitch. Any team that doesn?t play quickly will struggle against them. The ZL1 teams with be sterner test for that defence obviously, but they were very slick.
All on the line today as Suns play Uni. Anything but 3 points for Suns and Croatia are premiers.
Also Kotara take on Mayfield.
Suns 2-1 Uni
Kotara 3-1 Mayfield
Suns 5-3 Uni.
Uni 3-5 Suns
Crabs posted an EOI for a women's ZL next season. Can anyone give more info on that?
Bar tv on holidays for rest of year? How come the Olympic vs Kotara game isn’t being streamed tomorrow, or another mid week game.
Rightfully so, Suns keeper was down with Achilles injury even before Uni entered the half. Then proceeded to dribble and score in the open net.
One of the worst displays of sportsmanship ever seen on a football pitch. They all should be ashamed of themselves and relegate themselves the grubs. What an absolute shambles of a club.
Let?s get another thing straight. The Suns representative/president didn?t say anything abusive to anyone. He was simply standing up for his player and pointing out what he believed was poor sportsmanship from Uni. Is that really abuse?
People need to get their facts straight before accusing the president of abusing players. Labelling someone as abusive without evidence is not only unfair?it?s damaging.
Hopefully we get a Suns v Uni matchup in the finals to settle this once and for all. Would I be mistaken for thinking that uni are having a bit of a wobble at the moment though? Recently lost to Westlakes amongst a few other defeats I believe.
Azzuri v Stockton... this should have been on BarTV... about as big as it gets for relegation.
Incorrect. Regardless of whether it is the goal keeper unless it is a head injury the play will still be stopped at the discretion of the referee. There is no official rule saying otherwise. The goalkeeper however does not have to leave the field of play after treatment.

?Injuries
- allows play to continue until the ball is out of play if a player is only slightly injured
- stops play if a player is seriously injured and ensures that the player is removed from the field of play. An injured player may not be treated on the field of play and may only re-enter after play has restarted; if the ball is in play, re-entry must be from the touchline but if the ball is out of play, it may be from any boundary line. Exceptions to the requirement to leave the field of play are only when:
* a goalkeeper is injured
* a goalkeeper and an outfield player have collided and need attention
* players from the same team have collided and need attention
* a severe injury has occurred
* a player is injured as the result of a physical offence for which the opponent is cautioned or sent off (e.g. reckless or serious foul challenge), if the assessment/treatment is completed quickly
* a penalty kick has been awarded and the injured player will be the kicker?
:lulz:
You think there's a bunch of Doogie Howsers with whistles out there in the middle knowing whats slightly injured vs seriously injured?
Ref made a call. If its as described then Uni should have done a Wenger and let the Suns score.
If not....then sit back and pray for karma I guess.
Also, club Prez should have chucked the gloves on and got his monies worth giving the nerds the big ones.
Maybe next time.
Best thread this......
Stockton 4-1 Azzurri
Uni 3 Bay 0
Hats off to the Croats....well done Popsy
Congratulations to Croatia
Now with Pro and Rel I don?t think we will see a team win this comp in their first season again.
That first 20 minutes when they demolished the Suns at Myer Park was the best football I have witnessed in while.
All the best to them.
