Goes alright that Messi bloke ay.
does anyone else find the appeal of a final really drops off when it's two teams from the same country?
yes well done, your domination of local television rights means you buy the best players, smash domestic teams 8-0 and win Champions Leagues
I'll still watch it though, even if it's become predictable
I don't find two teams from the same country in the final less appealing, but I personally find the El Classico less appealing. The hype around that game always bores me, and I hate how it's about two players moreso than about two teams.
I would like to see Juve get into the final solely because Italy hasn't been in the final for 5 or so years iirc.
Will watch.
Don't care who's in it.
Didn't Munich put like 6 or so on Barca last time they played at Alliance?
Neither leg is over yet.
will watch at some point
Keeping Italy out of the elite in Euro Football has been a joy in the last few years.
Some of the BS they have put people through with their boring football their suffering at present needs to go on.
As for Barca V Bayern
What a contest for the first 80 mins.
Shame Bayern are a bit short staffed. Imagine the greater threat they could have posed with Robben Ribery etc. Didn't see the final stat but late in the game Bayern actually had more ball than Barca.
Shame it didn't finish 1-0 as it would have been a great 2nd leg to look forward to
deadset though how good was rakitic last night - everyone beating it over messi's goals, rightly so, but rakitic was immense, absolutely gut-busting stuff against a super-duper midfield
also doesn't look like it's hurt sevilla too much with their whoopin' of fiorentina this morning
I love this bloke (and Q-man too).
Not many people realise he's keeping a club legend out of a spot (Xavi) and took over from the bloke they were supposed to build the whole next generation around (Fabregas) at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Yet the whole time he's all like "cool cool, I got this".
Also, as batshit crazy as Alves is, if they don't treat him right with his next deal there will be hell to pay. Players and fans dead set love him.
deadset
Suck shit Real...... and Ronaldo.......:brrr: :deadhorse:
Forza Juve......
mate the whole second half he disappeared....
Yeah thats true bale had chances but it doesnt all on him..
Although real pushed there was no bite and alot of peoaple went missing...
word having it that bale got attacked outside the ground
really don't get the bale hate
he's not Ronaldo and he didn't put the price tag on his head for his transfer to Madrid.
i also think he'd be a much more dominant player if he was in the team without Ronaldo
if he goes to Man U as rumored he will just walk the competition.
found myself going for Juve while watching the game this morning
never though I'd say that
now I feel unclean
plucky little juve
I just look forward to the fireworks with Suarez having Chiellini and Evra on the park also
Pre match handshakes should be fun
Jaws 2
He's injured his hamstring....wonder if he'll play.
He'll play
Awww man, the commentators didn't even get time to finish fapping over Messi/Suarez and Neymar when Iniesta set up Rakitic to remind everyone who's boss.
What a save! BK-esque! :)
Juve only got 8 players? They've barely had any ball.
Loving the double denim look on the barca bench.
Much better game after juve scored.
Barca too good. 100% Jesus
Juve had a fair crack. After half time they were bossing it.
Still though Barca deserved it.
Refs did well too.
Also good to see the best player on the park get voted man of the match.
happy for suarez. he makes me smile :)
Probably because Alves is a first class ****.
No doubts he can play but he is a **** of huge proportions
Vidal was so bad, for all his hard work I don't think he completed a single pass and should have been sent off after 25 minutes. And it was clear that Pirlo is way past his best. That save by Buffon from Alves genuinely took my breath away; it's a shame he kinda fluffed the save on the second goal, I thought he should have held that.
I thought it was actually a good final. Juve held on in the first-half but probably should have gone ahead in the second when they were dominating. At the end of the day they just didn't have the quality to match Barca.
Messi wasn't at his best at all but was still influential. Rakitic was immense, as was Alves. Neymar is crazy good but is sadly a prime example of South America's proud tradition of producing first class cheats.
