As far as I'm aware, teams can clash shorts. Both outfield teams, both keepers, the refs, etc - all can wear the same colour shorts. Shorts mean nothing in terms of clashes. And keepers are allowed to wear whatever colour shorts they want, regardless of who else is wearing what. As far as I'm aware the only rule that NNSW state that is different to FIFA law is NNSW dictate that local keepers wear the same socks as their outfield players.
Why, exactly, did the ref on the weekend at Olympic v Westlakes ask our keeper to change shorts to match the outfield players shorts colours?
Also FWIW Swanky I agree that Westlakes/Olympic clash. I struggled with us two playing each other, and also us playing Charlestown (and hence why we wore our away kit for round 2 v Charesltown). We were potentially going get our reserves to wear our away kit for the Jesmond Park game v you guys on Sat, but after seeing that you guys wore your home kit for your "away" game we decided that the refs wouldn't care for us to do the same the week after.
