Maybe because the new coach wants to see him in the flesh, and try him in his system rather than rely on some bloke saying "yeah he's ok"?

Club signs people from watching videos , club gets slammed. Club doesn't sign after having plenty of video to watch but wants to see in person and fit into new system, club gets slammed.

If Stubbins needs to see a bloke in the flesh who has failed at half a dozen HAL clubs before making a decision god help us.

The Member is a great bloke, and that WC Diary thread is one of the greatest things on foz 2.0

When Stubbins says he likes a 4-4-2 diamond I think he means narrow diamond. A wide diamond leaves too much space. Goodwin and Hoole wouldn't be in midfield if that's the case

Bringing Ward in would cover pretty much any position at a stretch, which I don't mind the idea of.

Feel like we need another out-and-out striker. It's hard to say whether we need a starter or a backup, solely because of the unknown that is Hannah Montano.

Stubbins has said he definately wants another holding mid, so that will provide more cover there.

I'm quite liking the look of that squad.

No way will both our strikers play every game - especially with Griff aging (and his hot head).

Striker needed, or a mid that can play there if we are short.
