Yes training was a bit slow to start with but has picked up with a lot of new players coming in
We have lost a few due to a number of different reasons but have also picked up some good new players and should still be competitve.

saw a statement about regos before, was also curious to know what others were charging??
had someone say to me ours at $350 was too much compared to other clubs

I agree! I'd be stoked with that! I remember a few years ago they had awesome adidas trackies. Looks like they look after their boys pretty well over there.

Kotara are playing Hamilton Olympic ZL2 tonight at Nesbitt. "First" grade tonight followed by reserve/third grade tomorrow night.

Both teams are under strength due to players on holidays and working etc so i would imagine this is only a game to shake the cobwebs out and test out new players.

Lower grade game is played tonight.

1st grade terrace 7 tenambit 1
terrace dominated missed 3 open goals and numerous one on ones could of been 10 plus quite easy. tenambits goal was a penalty last kick of game. terrace keeper 2 saves for game
good first hit out for terrace

Only 2 grades played due to numbers on sunday which was quite a warm day so credit to both teams and players

Mixture of 3rds/U23s/Res Grade. Kotara won 4-2

Swansea Vs Gardo

1sts: 5-3
This game was played on Tuesday night. Interesting result and definitely a game with plenty going on in it.. Some absolute bombs scored by both teams (including an oggie from one of our boys that was reminiscent of the infamous 1978 Roy Drinkwater own goal for KB United.. hahaha.. He couldn't do it again if he tried!!)
Some promising signs for both teams, Swansea are going to be strong this year and dominated us in the 1st half, surging forward in large numbers and knocking about a lot of neat triangles.. Second half we lost a few key players - through injury and discipline - but somehow it brought us back into the game and had a much better second half..

Res/3rds combined game will be played out at Swansea tonight, 7pm..

Gardo 5-2 Swansea
A pretty even affair with the game played in good spirt both teams rotated players threw with the bench looking more like something you would see in a AFL game. The result flatters us (gardo) a little I'm sure both teams were able to take some positive out of the game

hey guys, wondering if any teams still looking for players? my brothers just moved here from Sydney. keen to play anywhere in the defence.

played 1st grade for maroubra session before Last and a casual season with Mac uni last season... keen to get back into it.
