Jets fan, a rather well known local footballer.
Michael ****ing Bridges. Why are we persisting in this bumnut when we can promote a younger chap to do the exact same thing he does. Beats 4 players on halfway with no pressure going sideways and then losing it. He's wasting a visa spot, a senior squad spot, and ruining my life
He is the exact opposite of Bret Hart, he is the shittest there is, the shittest there ever was, and the shittest there ever will be

Somebody give me a bit of a Eric Bischoff entrance music video. IM BAAAAAACK
Sometimes we are only as good as they let us play. They pressed well in the 2nd half. We made some decisions that didnt work. If Zads scores in the first half maybe a different convo. Good to see reegz getting more game time. Hoping cara can get some time to regain the old form

away fans lockout for next wankerers game. solved
This is something a few of us picked up on the minute Birraz was parachuted into the first-choice keeper role. The BK haterz wouldn't have a bar of it though.
In all fairness, I am a fan now, and I reckon he has improved immensely in his decision making from those early games. I back him to improve more as he gets more experience under his belt, he still hasn't yet played two seasons at a professional level yet.
Still think BK is the shit though.
Birraz is without a doubt improving. I am sure he is working on his aerial work, which will alos improve the more game time he gets - something he is getting with us. As for losing confidence because he picked the ball up!? Spare me. Keepers stuff up regularly. It's no different to a mis-controlled ball, a wayward pass or a shot that goes closer to a throw in than a goal kick. Do we lose confidence in the outfield player does this? The focus is on the keeper because their stuff-ups often result in a goal. In this case, it didn't so we move on.
Brown is concerning me. I found his tracking back was poor and his first instinct was to turn and look backwards. Would more game time assist with this? Maybe. He has more of a playing future than Bridges so he should be getting a run ahead of him.
Bridges tried too hard on the weekend. As a result of limited game time his touch and pass were a bit off - it's to be expected. I do think the super-sub role should go to another player.
Virgili and Goodwin were impressive when they came on. Goodwin in particular looked more lethal running forward, very much early last season form. Maybe he's heard that GvE isn't going to be coaching next year so the shackles have come off. I actually thought he should have started ahead of Brown. He would have offered more.
Our fullbacks are still pushing far too high leaving us vulnerable to the counter. It's good if we retain possession because they are there and waiting, but when we turn it over, we are in trouble.
I think Regan is panicking in the backline a bit. The back 4 are holding but Regan is often the first to drop and chase, eliminating any offside chance. Not being critical, but it was just an observation.
On the plus, got to meet Blackmac on the weekend. He was doing a great job selling the Jetstream. Shame I couldn't stop and chat for longer.
Being one of those BK haterz back then - I'd say I had a bar of it. But I saw way, way too many flaws in BK's game to outweigh any issues I saw with Biraz. Every game BK played, and every time the ball went near him, I was nervous. With Biraz, I felt & feel comfortable.

Just watched the replay. FFS how has the ref and linesman missed the push in the back of Pepper (he still should of been stronger) everyone in the stadium seen it other then the 2 people who could of done something about it.
