GVE gets the arse Monday, Griff starts against Coast...I would forget the last 2 years like I looked at one of those flashy things in MIB.

He also came out with "zadkovich always makes the right decision", fmd
Our backs are a real issue.
Start the season with 1 rb and 1 rookie left back, maybe a little cover with Goodwin but still, neither proven at a-league level.
Combine that with a young center back and it's a recipe for disaster.
Pepper put absolutely no pressure on the crosser for their second goal, you can tell from his body language that he really was not making any serious attempt to block the cross, he didn't even chuck out a leg ffs. Before the balls hit he's turning around to see where it goes.
Have to say the home loss to wello last year was worse, definitely felt worse at the time.
On a side note, was nice to meet you at the tenzo tonight hawk and evolution.
FFS
Did that look as bad on TV as it did at the ground???
Kew had a shocker.
Galloway was ****ing AIDS
Goodwins head dropped coz no **** would pass him the ball when free on at least 20 occassions before someone finally ****ing did
Caravalla had more touches than the amount of times I have fapped over Kale
EVERY ONE OF THEM USELESS FFS GET RID OF THE BALL PRINCESS
Chilli was even worse than Galloway
Peppz was useless
Zads done nothing
Kanta was crap
Other than Birraz and Ward the rest of them should be ****ing sacked.
THAT WAS THE WORST EFFORT FROM THEM I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO ENDURE
FT when the pricks came over I just turned my back on them. They ****ing turned their backs on all of NEWY tonight with 90 mins of shite
Getting beat is one thing but to get beat putting in such a gutless effort like that is a ****ing disgrace
Tram back to Hotel even had a family of 4 Jets fans on there that are obviously from the West Lakes area as their behaviour would have been laughable EVEN for Gypos. Bird slapped her mother in the head then whinged to dad for his approval in the argument. Then they had a screaming match between them for another 5 mins. I was embarrassed to be supporting the same ****ing shirt
Topped it off by walking 3 blocks past my hotel and wondering where the **** I was.
FAO Middleby.
I will be in HSG Office at 9am Monday for my ****ing refund. Do you want ****ing receipts???
And GVE out
F..k me. Actually I thought the team came out with some purpose after half time.
Deadset we were nailed on to lose this one
the players played without confidence and GVE's spat at HT did nothing to help that
Slept on it and woke up this morning not feeling any better. I'm still angry.
Dunno what you lot are banging on about.
Great night of sport on TV.

Who died? Who are the armbands for?
Thoughts on ward? Tidy in possession and actually tried to move things forward more often than not, few stray passes but I thought that was due to lack of confidence in the receiver to run onto it. Nice through ball that brown made a good run onto and nearly come off
Few thoughts on last night:
- Ward and Brown actually looked alright when they came on.. At least they were giving it a go..
- When will GVE realise that pepper is NOT a fullback.. poor bastard is being played out of position and made to look a goose..
- FFS we can't start games with BOTH Goody and Virgili on the field. Two blokes who look down on confidence, weak in defense. I don't mind them coming off the bench and running at tired fullbacks in the 80th minute..
- In that first half, we didn't even look like scoring, you could have fit a jumbo jet in the gaps in our midfield..
- I'm not sure where all the bagging of Caramello is coming from. I thought he actually did alright compared to most of the others (which isn't saying much!). Yeah he held on to it a lot, but when noone else around him was making movement, what else was he supposed to do?
Anyway, I'm trying to forget this shit. I'm going back to the mindset that I started the season with - No hopes = No disappointments..
Look at the team we started with, a rookie LB and a young CM playing at RB. Our two wingers are both young, pretty much un-proven at a-league level and lacking confidence..
These are critical areas for the team both in attack and in defence.
It was a completely make-shift side, yes you can say we're missing key players at u21 or what ever that comp is, but you also have to say our squad is just not up to scratch.
Leaning on youth is one thing, you need to mix it with proven experience though in order for it to work.
Edit: I can't help but keep wondering why we didn't keep Ritter ffs.
The problem with Caravella is that when he receives the ball he stops dead with it and turns left or right or a combination of both, stops, and then starts the procedure all over again.
This makes him a sitting duck for defenders because they know he's not going to release the ball straight away.
It also gives defenders time to close down any player that were in free space, making it near impossible for Caravella to find someone to pass it to.
If Caravella does manage to pass the ball, the player receiving it will either be surrounded by opposition players or forced to play the ball defensively rather than attack the opposition.
At GCU it was never an issue because Caravella had Culina who was very strong on the ball to dig him out of the shit. Although Caravella was better then than he is now.
This is probably why Adelaide couldn't get rid of him fast enough given the style of football they now play would not have worked with Caravella on the pitch.
Losing Hoole, Brillante, Taggart, Chapman, and Burns was never going to be ideal. I'd even be happy to play Chapman ahead of Caravella as a mid.
Chapman played most of his junior football as a mid.
Brillante, burns & neville are far more important to this team than first thought
Throw Ward in ahead of Caravella… he actually had some energy, and played some nice quick passes to keep the flow going. Caravella isn't exactly a defensive asset so it's no loss if Ward can't tackle - at least he provides something going forward.
I've never laughed so much during a game before, pure comedy. GVE in
I don't expect A-league players to perform at Serie-A or La-Liga standard. Just the intention to actually try and release the ball quicker would be enough at this stage. Caravella doesn't even look like he wants to pass until he's surrounded by the opposition.
He seems to be holding the ball trying to draw a foul - but its not working.
The only time he's ever looked like a professional playing for the Jets is when he combined with ADP for a goal by tackling Chapman.
