I don't get the Gold Coast thing, it's been proven by more that just GCU that the place is a graveyard as far as sporting teams are concerned, no idea how much NRL has ploughed into their team there to keep it afloat (and frankly don't care), but it just seems like you'll be forever propping any team up that you place there, any FA startup there will just be a moneypit...

Agree. Speculation is simply that - speculation. I've got over "rumour mill" news in the Prem etc - until they are wearing the shirt, anything can change.
