I remember when Kanta was 'the next big thing' and trialling with European teams. Now though, he's still kicking around with the Jets all these years later. To be fair though he is still young with plenty of football ahead of him to improve.
Tbh, I thought Kanta's distribution wasn't that bad. He was hitting the long switch pretty well.
Kanta seems to divide opinion. Personally I think as a defensive mid he is the best we have by a mile defensively. His passing is inconsistent tho but it was quite good the other night. Everyone is allowed their opinion but we simply need him to protect the back four and we don't have anyone else capable at present.

Like I said in the Jerkstream podcast (check it out), to me since his injuries he appears to be quite sluggish, and slow, in his movements. Maybe a move to a defensive position where his pace won't be as much of an issue as in the mids is the best thing for him.Quote:

I can look past his ccm days knowing he was with us at the end of the nsl and not picked up by us at the start of 'new football'.
