Goalkeeper.
New owner. If we get a decent one than the rest will fall into place.
Wait? So Carney swearing at the Squodronz was one of his 3 'strikes'?
and people are knocking Tony Abbott for wanting to deliver workplace reform.
The whole world has gone to shit.
2 things - how many A-league goals has our entire squad scored in their careers? And, if Carl Thornton isn't a better footballer than Kantarovski or Gallagher, I'll eat my hat
who was saying lucas?
pretty sure that was a foz rumour lol
Won't be ryan unless it was for a shit ton of money up front.
Pretty sure it was mentioned by Lowey in one of his herald columns.
Here it is....

Kantarovski looks like an all age referee. Can't be assed leaving the centre circle and occasionally breaks up an opposition attack
^ I lol'ed hard.
I remember when Kanta was 'the next big thing' and trialling with European teams. Now though, he's still kicking around with the Jets all these years later. To be fair though he is still young with plenty of football ahead of him to improve.
Tbh, I thought Kanta's distribution wasn't that bad. He was hitting the long switch pretty well.
Kanta seems to divide opinion. Personally I think as a defensive mid he is the best we have by a mile defensively. His passing is inconsistent tho but it was quite good the other night. Everyone is allowed their opinion but we simply need him to protect the back four and we don't have anyone else capable at present.
personally think kantas career is moving towards playing centre back.
he offers little attacking threat and his biggest strengths is his defensive work.

We just signed Boogard
Good.
I can look past his ccm days knowing he was with us at the end of the nsl and not picked up by us at the start of 'new football'.
He was young and can't be blamed for signed ing a pro contract with a club 50km from home when his home team said he was surplus to requirements.
Hes a solid experienced defender.
That said, he's slow and a red card waiting to happen.
Hot head boogard.
Good signing.
I take it Boogard is this big signing we were promised Monday???
What a dickhead.Quote:
Stubbins added: “As a respected player in the Hyundai A-League, Nigel’s signing shows the supporters that Newcastle is seen as a strong club and one that can compete with rival teams for the services of top players.”
“Of course, it helped our cause that Nigel is a proud Novocastrian and that he genuinely wants to play what could prove to be some of his best years as a professional with his hometown club,” he concluded.
No shit that Boogards local ties helped the cause of signing him. They were always gonna be a positive in any negotiations for the Jets.
As for the bit about we can compete with rival teams that is just more smoke and mirrors bullshit. Good solid HAL player yes. Valued signing Yes. Welcome addition Yes
But not a ****ing approval that the top quality elite players in this country are keen to play for our club.
Suppose next time the circus ringmaster will give himself a pat on the back for arseing a draw at home V the team coming last.
The 3 years contract though seems a bit excessive length wise though and would have preferred 2 and go from there
Quite like Boogard, but another CB?
Regan, Mullen and Boogs at CB or does Mullen move to LB.
He doesnt join till the end of the season.
big deal.
we signed joe average at the back. so hows our attack, structure, coach, owner, brand, culture, back stabbers.........oh fk orrrf
