Mark Bridge never scored for us and (in a terrific piece of trivia) has never scored at A-League level.

Why do you say that? I'd have Taggart back in a heart beat. His pace would push the defenders back a bit and create more room in the middle of the park which has been cramped of recent weeks.

Why? Because he's another of those players that have one or two alright games in a row and we sign them up for 2 seasons just because they're cheap. Like we've done with players like Virgilli, peps and galloway over the years. Then we realise they're average again and never play them. We should be looking at quality attacking mids to fill the position.

Can't disagree with this enough. Taggart was only getting better, he was about to start hitting his physical peak and would scored goals even with our horrid displays this year. He would've done well at helping Edson out as well.

We already have enough attacking mids, Mitch Cooper is blossoming into a decent No 10. We've also tried the false 9 and it failed miserably.

Sign up Taggs. It's the middle of the park that we have most of our problems.

Ahh, my bad. I do think you're wrong though in Coopers instance. Your comment is true in most cases re: signing young players after half a good season, but with the small pool of players in our league it's a risk we have to take. We still don't have anything to offer young players, other than more game time then they probably deserve.

Cooper has shown that once he gets over his injury, he is still psychologically stunted after missing so much game time, he will be able to compete at HAL level. He has plenty of fight and a good touch. With some good coaching and better players around him he could be a good player.

destroying all merchandise and perhaps removing all reference to the Jets in any part of my life may be appropriate
