Would have thought that insurances would cover injuries and associated expenses.
Raw Boned Youngster are you related to Old Wise Man ?

Matt Nash trained with the Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets at Ray Watt Oval on Monday morning with a view to possibly joining the squad as injury cover for Ben Kennedy.
Kennedy will have his troublesome right knee checked by a specialist on Tuesday.
Another of the Club’s goalkeepers, Jack Duncan is currently away on international duty with the Young Socceroos in the United Arab Emirates.
Nash spent two seasons at the Jets between 2010 and 2012, making nine A-League appearances.
erghhhhhhhhhhhh nash is gash.
I'm not a BK hater, I am a BK meh-er. I think he is an average A-League GK, decent back up and that is it. He is superior to Nash in every way except hair cut.
Shattered really where is the display in faith with the Yoofs from the Egg??
Why isn't Galloway being trusted to fill in during Duncans abscence and BK's injury woes.
Sammy proved to be a wonderful fill in during the NBN State League season for the yoofs

Wellington Phoenix defender Ben Sigmund has failed in his bid to have his red card rescinded, with the Hyundai A-League Match Review Panel ruling that he did make sufficient contact with Adelaide United attacker Jeronimo Neumann, thus denying a goalscoring opportunity.
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini reviewed the incident after an Obvious Error Application was submitted on behalf of the player.
The MRP determined that there was no Obvious Error within the meaning in the A-League Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations), Obvious Error being “a decision by the Referee to…..issue a Red Card when no card was warranted….being a decision that no referee in the possession of all the facts, including all Broadcast Footage, could reasonably have made.”
At the time the decision from referee Jarred Gillett drew the ire of Phoenix captain Andrew Durante, who in a fiery post-match interview intimated that if Jeronimo did indeed take a dive he was a "cheat"
Due to the decision that there was no obvious error made, the panel then did not have to review the actions of Jeronimo and he is free to play for the Reds when they take on Brisbane Roar.
Had Jeronimo been cited he would have joined only two others to be cited for simulation in the history of the league.
In 2010/11 Perth Glory striker Michael Baird and Central Coast Mariners import Patricio Perez were both banned for two weeks for their own acts of simulation, with no player suspended since then.
Joining Sigmund on the sidelines in round five will be Perth Glory defender Steve Pantelidis who was issued a straight red card for denying Sydney FC midfielder Brett Emerton a clear goalscoring opportunity in Perth's 2-1 loss to the Sky Blues.
What a farce
So, because they appealed, he gets an extra week - right?
only if deemed frivolous?

MINING magnate Nathan Tinkler will put 200 broodmares under the hammer today but a spokesman denies the move is a fire sale.
More than 300 horses from his Patinack Farm in the Hunter Valley in NSW will be put up for sale at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast and all lots will be unreserved.
The 200 broodmares will be followed by 110 racehorses on Friday.
Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox said rumours the auction was a fire sale were not true.
“He is wanting to downsize and reduce the numbers,” Mr Cox said.
“It’s a reduction sale which means Mr Tinkler is reducing his number and they are selling from bottom up.”
He reiterated that every horse had to be sold.
“There is no reserve on any of the horses up for sale,” he said.
Tinkle, Mirvac settle legal dispute
Mr Cox said there had been interest from around the country and internationally.
He said there was a huge range of quality mares and racehorses up for grabs.
“There are plenty of good quality horses that would suit people across the inter spectrum of industry ,” he said.
“They will sell from a top $250,000 or $200,000 to a low at around $1000...as to what total sale will gross you cannot tell.”
and it begins..
From the Herald:

JETS midfielder Ben Kantarovski is in doubt for Newcastle’s A-League trip to Perth to play the Glory on Saturday night after injuring his right knee at training today.
See your ad here
The former Young Socceroos captain limped from the field about 30 minutes into the Jets’ training session at Ray Watt Oval this morning.
The injured knee was the one he had surgically reconstructed in December 2010.
In another blow for the Jets, who have won three straight games to share the A-League lead with Adelaide on nine points, Swiss left back Dominik Ritter failed to complete the session after clutching at his left quadriceps.
Kantarovski and Ritter were being checked by the club’s medical staff.
The Jets leave for Perth on Thursday.
-------------------------------------------
Hope its nothing serious for both. Really need Ritter to play, Kanta can have the week off.
Have we employed a new strength and conditioning coach yet? These training injuries are worrying!
having solid out isn't the worst thing in the world, after all goodwin is a lb and not lw by nature. it does mean we lost the attacking threat of goodwin, though.

PV4 I think Taggz is absent this week off in his 400th call up of the season to the Aussie Yoofs with Duncan Chapo Brillante etc
Okon Out
mitchell could probably play at left back with regan coming into the centre.
Bring in Brown.
