Get rid of wellington, bring in Malaysia, no cross-confederation dramas, secure another fifa vote for us in the future, bring in a new broadcaster, expand a-league profile in asia. Having a Malaysian team in the A League will do nothing for the development our game here. Having one team from NZ, okay fair enough as there is a lot of cross-over between Aussie and Kiwi players which is good for both countries but this is as far as we should go as far as allowing foreign teams playing in our comp.
Knowing FFA they will just look at the $$$ and not be able to see the long-term repercussions that this could have on the game.
