The Gallagher shield is in honour of Peter Gallagher who sadly passed away from brain cancer, Pete played for both of these great clubs and was a special player and person.
The first Gallagher Shield leg will be held at The Gardens in Birmingham Gardens on 1.5.2016 and the following leg at Ulinga Oval,South Cardiff on the 24.7.2016.
There will be a points system in place to determine which club wins the Shield.
1st's win: 8 points
U23's win: 6 points
U19's win: 4 points
U17's win: 2 points
Draws: 1 point
We will be donating a percentage of the canteen/bar/gate takings from our home shield leg to the cure brain cancer foundation.
