Sounds like Dertn Hinch on steroids. Welcome back Member!!
Now, be good
Welcome back, member. I didn't realise you are a Jones fanboi.
Me getting banned again one day in the future is as inevitable as this useless ****ing football club shooting itself in the foot.
A nigh on certainty
That because I sail close to the wind all the time
Just like Bruno Fornaroli thanking Graham Arnold for attending the FfA Cup Final the other night.
Just like Griff sack wacking the ref
Blokes like that sail close to the wind get the job done in the end.
Mark Jones may well be the 3rd worst coach in the world behind Stubbins and Claudio Ranieri but he not the goose who signed these piss weak players.
Until he actually makes a ****ing signing and I ain't counting Ian Fyfe. (Seriously I was in Thailand at the time and I thought some GYPO had hacked my twitter and Facebook feeds)
Then maybe time to judge.
Bit hard to Polish a turd when the last bloke signed Poljak to a two year deal and head hunted a bloke with 1 penalty and 1 Redmayne howler as his only ****ing goals in 70/80 ****ing games.
This side shit because Millertime signed these blokes
End of
Has anyone seen the Member and Griff in the same room?
Griff has completed his C license. It's only a matter of time until he becomes the bearer of our salvation.
Can confirm that so far Jonesy has answered his harshest critics by standing the entirity of the game so far!
Really addressesing the problems that matter to the fans.
i mean Deans is still there at the ground can't Jones just hand him his security pass and keys to the office and lets be done with it?
The poor bloke has inherited a $100 team and we are playing against a casino, look at Sydney's bench ffs, his doing his best with what his got
Back 5 worked a treat mark. shall we try 8 next week?
Jones must really need the money because I'd be walking if that's the type of response my players showed me.
Not saying I'm against Jones or for him but why would anyone want to manage / coach at this club ?
Well, they said he couldnt do it, but he's gone and silenced his critics with a stirring 90 minutes of standing, combined with yelling and gesturing! Surprised he didn't appear as an option for MotM!
In all seriousness tho, he's had 10 weeks to instill some kind of hunger, desire, structure, purpose and ambiton into his players, yet today was the worst 90 minutes ive watched in a long while...
One week he brings Brennan in from nowhere for his first start, the next he starts Haliti after deeming him not good enough for the bench last week. Yet Clut sits in reserve on the bench. He appears to literally be clutching at straws!
I didnt expect us to play Sydney off the park, but I expected more than 1 shot off target & 68% pass completion...
At least today he cant say in the presser that we played good football .......
Ernie Merrick looks like he will lose his job soon, can we sign him?
Also, is it just me or does anybody else notice that Wayne Brown contests more headers than any other Jet, despite being the shortest guy on the pitch?
With everything, including the crowd going backwards you would think the club would step in, but as per usual it's all silence.
Mr Lee's reluctance to bolster the injury depleted squad though is as equally to blame as Jones.
Does anyone know how long all these injuries are supposed to be?
All injuries are six weeks unless specified otherwise.
The Jets have 15 players coming off contract so there is an opportunity to release a few of them in January if the club have no intention of extending their contracts.
The salary cap is ridiculous - plenty of ways to get 7 or 8 players outside the cap in your squad.
The problem is we don't have a single player outside the salary cap let alone 7 or 8 of them like the big clubs do.
Personally I'd like to see the restrictions on foreign players removed and to see the salary cap gone as well. That way the excuses for mediocrity might cease and players would be forced to either get better or look for an alternative way to make a living.
If Australians want to be part of the league they need to earn their place not be handed it because of their citizenship status.
I think they needs to be out for longer than thery are to be allowed to be replaced.
It's still hard for me to judge Jones' impact considering how many disruptions there's been on the player front.
But no question we are playing some of the worst football any Jets side has done in our history. I think last week in Melbourne was the worst performance I've seen in the flesh, and that was still with five or six first-choice players in the side.
I can't justify pulling the trigger on him with so many players being out, but I'd definitely be putting the feelers out for interested parties. I've never been convinced he was the man for the job.
