I feel this season will be one of participation more than expectation.
Firstly, thankfully that doesn't say anything worth worrying about. Just that someone said that someone said that an agent spoke to WSW.
Secondly if we sign a 35 year old drugs cheat I'll be calling that filthy Gypo CEO and telling him to right **** off. We have a bad enough name without that rubbish dragging us even further down.
There are maybe 3 players in that list who I think would get game time at a top 6 club. Another 4 or 5 who would make the bench.
The filthy Gypo must be close to completing his sabotage of our club. Hopefully once we truly implode he leaves. I'd be ok with playing 2nd division football if it means that sack of poop leaves.
This upcoming run on the sniff of an oily rag shitshow has a Hoolie Doolie return written all over it.
I wonder how many members email the club putting a hold on any auto renewal membership and just sit tight til the eve of the comp to see just how much of a cut price rabble they put on the park this season.
I dont see us getting Hoole back. We're well stocked with shit tier players in the middle, we need a striker (or two) and some defenders.
I hope i am wrong also as i will be extremely pissed but this season has if you have A League experience and play for next to minimal wage apply within with all past wrongs forgiven.
Fold the club.
Can't believe you blokes want to reject a bloke that just had a successful season in Europe.
Abdiel Arroyo
so how long til hes recovered from his knee injury?
So he comes too us as a striker ? Can't wait too see where Ernie plays him then. Clearly at the point of attack will be out of the question
So it sounds like we have no control over when he actually arrives and won't know what state of fitness he is in until he arrives.

Fingers crossed he does well. This will be his 6th loan in 5 years. So at least he is probably be handy at moving his stuff.
That part of the article amused me also.
“Hopefully he will be here before FFA Cup”. It doesn’t mention visa issues or anything, just that he will head back to his club post Conccaf. So why can’t we, idk, try and sort out his arrival date and get him here for preseason.
I guess we should be happy if he’s here before round 8.
Sounds like he’s gonna be burnt out when he gets here if he was singed.
I wonder if he speaks English? If not, I wonder who would speak Spanish in the squad?
He scored for Panama 2 days ago.

I just saw that he was born in Colón, he should fit right at home here with our club then..

He's scoring against some pretty woeful defence even by A-League standards.
He would not have cost us too much coin so could be a good value signing - but he's hardly going to be scoring 15 goals in a season.
It's a gamble and one we had to make given the circumstances surrounding finances. He probably has the potential for 10/15 goals given half decent service but I feel more optimistic about Champness hitting that mark at this stage.
Also if we aren't going to build championship calibre squads id prefer to buy cheaper, younger imports with potential to cash in on
so we need someone from that area who may or may not be able to communicate with him? so when is Ernie announcing he's signed Fabio Ferreira as a translator? (ex-gypo, fits the remit ;) )
Arroyo was subbed on in the 46th minute today against the USA in the CONCACAF Gold Cup..
They lost 1-0, but that's still not a bad effort against the yanks I guess..
Soooo, we finishing 8th or 10th this year?
speaking of whom

interesting away strip. and before anybody goes off about being off topic, there strip is far more interesting than talking about our squad.
