Looks like the green tigers only just got home over the panthers
Warners bay went up 2-0. Mayfield really should of been up 3 or 4-0 at HT
If mayfield were honking what’s that say about Warner’s bay ?
Maybe not bad luck just bad football?
Weekend Conclusions
The Dudley Jets showed up again on Saturday. Every club secretary is writing to Northern to get their fixture against Dudley moved from a Sunday.
Cooks Hill decided only conceding 2 last week was boring and went back to 1-1-8 formation.
Will McMaster is the bad boy of ZPL. He is carrying the hopes on Chapman Oval, Scoring goals for fun and pissing off Debt Collector. Is there anything this lad cant do?
Warners Bay and Mayfield arguing over who was the most honking.
Suns turn it on again and Kotara lose again.
Plenty of banter, a few beers and I hope everyone enjoyed. God bless the ZPL.
People like this make the ZPL for me. This is why it's more entertaining than other divisions. Speaking of entertainment, we've got Suns this week. If anyone from the club is on here, why are you guys on Myer park? Is it because Cooks Hill have moved in on your turf at Carrington? On that note, why is it that whenever a club doesn't have a ground, they get moved to Carrington? Azzurri were there last time, now it is Cooks Hill.

Cant wait for the spicy Hexham Italian Mozzies v Cardiff "we won the COVID Cup by a point from our washout" midweek replays.
After all the questionable banter from the Cardiff boys on socials, lets hope they can walk the walk after attempting to talk the talk.
Gotta love ZPL, so much spice. BarTV should focus on this league not NPL
Round 7
No waffle today, busy and away weekend.
Cardiff v Beresfield - Cardiff 3-2 win
Mayfield v Swansea - 2-2
Cooks Hill v Warners Bay - Cooks Hill 4-1 win
Suns v Dudley - 1-1
Kotara v Azzuri - Azzuri 4-0 win.
Enjoy the action.
Cardiff v Beresfield - 2-1
Mayfield v Swansea - 2-1
Cooks Hill v Warners Bay - 1-3
Suns v Dudley - 2-1
Kotara v Azzuri - 2-4
Cardiff v Bero
Winner puts a little gap on Kotara at the bottom. Semis out of reach for them both
Cardiff 3-1
Mayfield v Swansea
Both going along nicely. Mayfield surprising a few people from early season predictions.
Mayfield 2-1
Cookers v WBay
Cookers just can’t stop people scoring. Mid table battle
Cookers 2-1
Kotara v Azzurri
Kotara’s play has gone backwards since parting ways with the coach. Azzurri fresh after a ‘washout’ will be way to good.
Azzurri 3-0
Suns v Dudley
It has been way to long since we have had this fixture. I have a feeling the hatred between both teams will still be there and a 5pm kick off Saturday should ensure a bumper crowd. Dudley coming of a loss plus FFA cup won’t want to lose and Suns will want to buy a gap on the pack.
Draw 1–1

Cardiff to beat Bero 2-1
Mayfield to edge Swansea 1 - 0
Suns to beat Dudley 2-0
Cookers to Beat Warners Bay 3-0
Azzurri to beat Kotara 3-0
I predict some truly ordinary games of park football this weekend.
The real question this week is can the current best defence in the league be up to the task of keeping the ‘ZPL bad boy’ Will McMaster goalless and finally putting his ego in check
Surely if he scores again his head will explode
Rumour has it that he’s sticking around after the game to sign autographs for all of his fans
The real question for the weekend is will Dudley and the Suns actually keep the hatred to the field or will it be like previous years 🤔
Cardiff v Beresfield - 2-2
Mayfield v Swansea - 2-1
Cooks Hill v Warners Bay - 1-2
Suns v Dudley - 2-2
Kotara v Azzuri - 1-3
Cardiff v Beresfield 3-2
Mayfield v Swansea 2-0
Cooks Hill v Warners Bay 2-2
Suns v Dudley 2-1
Kotara v Azzuri 1-4
Mayfield vs Swansea
1sts 0-1
2nds 0-2
3rds 5-1
Swansea vs Mayfield ended 1-0 in favour of the swans. Both teams had chances and Mayfield hit the post in the final minutes of the game and Swansea held out for the win.
SUSPENDED - The ZPL bad boy has finally been quelled and was left goalless. He also got a yellow card for his troubles which is his 4th for the season.
Will McMaster also butchered a goal that was already going in by being greedy and kicking it in for good measure however was called back with a questionable call of offside.
Rumour has it Will McMaster had a holiday booked and got suspended in an attempt to not get dropped from first grade. He also refused to sign autographs after the game which left his fans disappointed.
Cardiff v Bero
3rds 6-2
res 6-0
1st 4-3 would have been 4-2, but Cardiff scored a 50m own goal in the last minute of the game.
any other results yesterday suns v dudley
Suns v Dudley
3rds 1-2 Dudley end with 8 player and Suns with 10. The Suns red card was one of the wildest reaction to a challenge ever.
Res 0-1 For a reserve grade game this was a cracker from both teams in tough conditions.
1st 2-2 Dudley played 50-60 with 10 men. They scored inside the first 5min. Suns missed a penalty. They then scored 2 goals in 1min just before half time. For some reason with an extra man in the second half they didn’t really get at Dudley and Dudley pinched an equalizer in the 90th min. Suns probably had the best of it across 90min. Both sides are quality
Terrible reaction from our guy and will be dealt with internally on top of whatever the suspension is. Surprised only one red card from reaction of Dudley players as multiple guys then threw deserving punches at him but just one sent off. Probably a good thing though in the circumstances.
Should never have gotten to that. Was a horrible brain snap!
Any scores from Azzurri Kotara?
Kotara 3 - 2
Couldn't believe it when I heard that. Old mate thought he was in the UFC! Gotta laugh sometimes... Overall a 2-2 was a fair result between the teams I think.
Went down and watched this one as I have a few mates across both teams. Kotara must have had it in their game plan to just keep fouling the boys from Hexham and if they did, well done because it worked. The referee didn't give them a red even though the foul count must have been around 30 or so - this included two penalties (one of which Hexham missed). Azzurri responsible for few calamitous errors which lead to three goals in the first half for Kotara. Surprisingly, the tigers only had two shots (but scored three!). Overall Kotara must be stoked with that one.
Azzurri are average at best this season. Too many fancy boys in the midfield no one wants to do all the spade work.
Couldn’t be happier to see the boys from Hexham lose to a pretty poor Kotara side.
Warner’s bay and Cardiff finally get some results. Dudley vs suns looked to be a tight game but by the sounds of it suns having the better of Dudley through out most of the game.
Swansea grind out a result against mayfield.
Any news on why cooks hill are struggling so much?
