tbf, I was mostly trolling pv4... despite being at fault for at least those 4, he has probably been responsible for preventing 30 others.
the tackle on ADP was brilliant
Mitchell has been equally rubbish if not worse. Drop him as well, new CB pairing Regan/Chapman.
Bira did so many awesome saves because the defence in front of him was sheit!
Glad Chapman is gettin a run but would of dropped Mitchell tbh
Apart from the Perth game, Mitchell has been pretty average. Would definitely like to see a pair of ball playing central defenders in Tiago and Chapman have a run together, see how they work out considering our play from the back mentality which Mitchell just doesn't seem up to. Not sure Regan is a ball player either though...
tiago has been really good this season, yet he does have a tendency to switch off at times and it always seems to cost us.
Thought he went pretty well, what is he, 19 years old? I'd like to know what his pass completion rate was, didn't seem to give it away at all. Also thought he came back from the penalty incident really well, he could have gone to water, the way Neville did for half hour, but didn't.
I for one was very impressed, well played son!
I think we can expect a bit of tinkering with Chapman, Mitchell, Tiago and maybe Regan if he ever gets back in the good books.
Wouldn't be surprised if Tiago and Chapman get the gig this weekend.
Tbh, although Regan doesn't have the technical ability of some other players, his organisation, communication and determination could be what we need.
After having watched Chapman play in the Yoofs a bit I can see the kid has got some faults that are gonna cost us some goals as he irons them out of his game. In the mean time we are gonna witness the rise of a damn fine kid developing his game onwards to Euro League and Socceroos Selection.
Wasn't really surprised he gave away the pen after 3-4 mins he pushes his luck a little in Yoof level at times with his defending in the box. Do this a couple of times at HAL level and I am pretty sure the Egg will be working on ways to stop the needless pens
I would be keeping him away from Tarago!!
Watched Chapo in one of the Yoof games I think V Edgy and the Edgy players were getting overtly physical with the Yoof.
Whilst his teammates went to water and lost the game Chapo was the only one not only taking it but also dishing it back. We are talking old school tactics studs down calves and achilles, stepping on opponents feet etc.
Don't think Tarago would be a great influence on Chapo teaching him the art of the sly elbow and other tricks that Chapo may or may not be aware of.
Also we don't need 2 lunatic centre halves on the field with the potential of brain fart at anytime. Ones more than enough!!
WTF ???? Let them have Deans....

Van Egmond rejects Sydney FC approach
Monday, 26 November 2012 3:40 PM
Following media enquiries this afternoon, the Newcastle Jets can confirm coach Gary van Egmond was offered the Head Coaching role at Sydney FC, effective immediately.
The Jets wish to advise van Egmond has declined the offer and remains committed to the Club.
“Gary is a great coach and it is a massive compliment that Sydney FC would be chasing his services,” CEO Robbie Middleby said.
“In saying that, we feel it is disrespectful to approach a contracted coach to leave any Club at this point in a season.
“Gary has made it clear he is remaining loyal and staying to continue what he has started, including the development of our exciting young players and in particular, growing the Emerging Jets Program.”
This is why you have to hate everything about Smurf FC - it's all about them.
It's pretty slack of Sydney to go after a contracted coach, but very satisfying that it backfired on them!
take deans
Just proves the mentality and ethics that are instilled in that club. Actually, the FFA if it has any balls should be coming out and condoning this. I thought that clubs aren't supposed to approach contracted players? If that's the case, shouldn't coaches be in the same boat also?
