Really enjoyed the first night. I honestly loved the pans to Putin & co, it made my night.

Far out KSA made Russia look good.

I am looking forward to Uruguay vs KSA - Suarez & Cavani v that defence :brrr:

Something that I was thinking about earlier was KSA auto-qualified ahead of the Socceroos for the World Cup. Then you think about how awful Honduras were in our playoff, and then remember Honduras finished above USA. Just astounding stuff.

I got up at 4:30 to watch it on demand and it wasn’t available yet. The first vid in the list was the highlights video and the second was ‘Russia complete rout’ so I didn’t bother watching. The same thing seemed to happen with EPL- the matches aren’t quickly available after full time, you usually have to wait a good 3+ hours.

I use a Fetch....the benefit being you can record games. Useful when the on demand fails which happens now and then.

Game swung back and forth and both teams deserved to win.

I'd say Spain should feel bad about the draw tho. De Gea with the fumble and Costa with that shank/should have left it to Isco.

Best part about the whole thing was getting watch Quaresma again. What a filth bag/legend he is. Such a gifted footballer who just doesn't give a fudge about anything.

Thing is finishing 2nd in that group may be an advantage

Winner of group gets to play Argies in Quarters
