From what I know a number of players were offered contracts (a number of last years first grade) down on the Central Coast with the newly promoted team. The guy who runs the club down there played for us in 2010 when we won the comp. There are about 6 or 7 ex players there.
They lost some of the ressies because they started uni (so some had to move)
Thirds went back to All Age (wanted to keep playing Saturday)
A few guys are playing Friday night all age
I haven't been to a game yet - to busy working in the Winery to get to one so no idea who is actually playing firsts from last year.
Last year defense wise we were solid (3rd least goals against) we just couldn't score....

Interestingly just had a look at 2017 ladder, after 4 rounds last year Cooks Hill were undefeated 3W 1D 0L 10pts and finished the season 5W 3D 10L 18pts

With no direct promotion/ relegation between ZPL and newfm. They should be fine to go up you would think. There is basically a two division comp then a 4 division comp. so can’t what reason there would be to stop them going to ZPL if they were to win it. But still early days in the comp yet.Quote:
