$39 for a ticket
$6.60 booking fee
Then they make me print the ****er out
And they wonder why no cunce go to games
it's ridiculous. charge 20 bucks and be done with it
yeah i'll be there mate, will head over after work.
nothing as good as the harp or the horse & jockey - however i'm sure we can rustle something up
speaking of - who else is making the trip down for the ultimate disappointment?
Anything like the Harp, count me & BodyNovo in!
There was little wrong with the Horse and Jockey
The selection was more than adequate it was a great drinking establishment
The Harp though on the other hand
What a **** of a trip that was
Left home at 9am on CityRail
Got home at 6:30am thanks to CityRail
Done some damage to the choppers on the way home
What a day
Freakonomics just did a podcast explaining why the ticket market is so screwed. Interestingly, these extra fees don't just go to Ticketmaster or whoever the ticket vendor is. The money often goes to the stadium and/or promoter and other parties.
Ticketmaster prides itself on copping the reputation loss by attracting all the hate, while letting its clients (stadiums, etc) escape all that bad will.
Gee, u23s wouldn't be able to field a team if such an appeal wasn't just for select clubs:

What a crock of shit. As if De Silva will risk his place at the Mariners, same with Izzo & Garuccio at Adelaide. Mauk & Kamau wouldn’t have any trouble picking up contracts elsewhere if City didn’t want them. Funnily enough, one player who might have that issue is Cowburn - if ever there was a time to break into the first team, it’s now.
Complete load of shit
Yeah it sucks that it in during the season but the NT Yoof teams have had players called up before during the HAL season and the comp didn't implode
Clubs just using bully boy tactics for their own self interest
Jumpei and Melling have left WSW. The exodus begins
Adam Peacock last night said his prediction for 2018 was us to finish in a ACL qualifying position. Good judge he is and he gets under Arnie's skin which makes him an even greater bloke.
How is this possible?

Sainsbury didn't seem to allude to it at all so could just be media speculation.
Also I didn't realise he was so young - I look forward to seeing him continue as part of the national team setup for years to come
I actually struggle to see why he would come here and play in the A League
Don't forget we have a new manager one day coming for the Socceroos
You ain't signing to play in this basketcase league when you can play elsewhere on the planet in a WC year

puff piece/bit of cover for the salary cap cheating by sydney. :rof:
the bit about paying most of their salary cap into their top 11 is interesting. risky though.
