what are the win draw loss records for us wearing gold/blue vs red/blue?
when did we change again? season 8?
when do you need it?
Do we play in away colours every away game?
needed at your leisure. first season for red/blue was 11/12

no need to worry about what colours we have played in each week.
Just the comparison of results from when we were gold unitl we officially intro'd the blue/red ... Then all the results after we changed our colours.
all home and away games included regardless of colour.
warning: (down the track we may ask for results from every coloured shirt we have worn)
OK, format is W-D-L = total and win %
A-League
Season 1-6 (GOLD) 54-37-61 = 152 , (35.5%)
Total Gold, including pre-season cup, ACL - 59-45-72 = 179 (32.9%)
Season 7-10 & FFA Cup 28-20-39 = 87 (32.1%)
So in closing we are consistently shit.

On a side note, is it possible to see what our ratio is prior to Mr. 6-8 Weeks signing on with the club in his varied roles, might enlighten people to the greatness / ineffectiveness argument that raged on previously.
This was produced on 6 Nov 2011 - and it was after he returned from retirement that the stats mostly interest me tbh.

I think the A-League stats are the most relevant. I don't know how seriously the club took the pre-season comp.
It's certainly not just down to a shirt either.
I've done some more analysis and Season 2 and Season 3 were the ONLY season the Jets have returned a positive for and against. Every other season we've conceded more goals than we've scored.
Also, in every HAL season, we have received more bookings that the opposition. Leijer's yellow on the weekend was the first an opposition player has received against us, where we've received 14 bookings so far this season.
While at the ground the other day, there were some grumblings about Nick Theo and how this was our worst start since then. I've decided to have a look back and see.
Theodorakopoulos was sacked after 7 games, so for accuracy sake I have so far only looked at his first 6.
- Season 2 - 3 points (3 draws) / Season 10 - 2 points (2 draws)
- Goals For - 6 in Season 2, 5 in Season 10
- 14 goals against in both seasons
- S2 - 8 yellow cards, 3 reds. S10 - 17 yellows, 0 red
One worrying trend over the last 6 seasons has been our discipline. In EVERY A-League season we have received more bookings than the sum of our opposition. Over the last 6 seasons our average count has gone from 1.7 a game and up each year to now being 2.8 per match. Why is that? Are referees clamping down on us because of we have a stigma of being a "physical" team? Are teams over-running us and we are committing fouls to prevent being caught on the counter? Are we providing "constructive criticism" to the referee and they don't want the feedback?
And before people start saying Season 2 had an easier start, we played 2 at home and 4 away, including a stretch of 3 on the trot, to start that season too. One of those was a trip to Wellington.
I thought I'd share this information because I found it an interesting comparison.
Hey JP. How many goals have we conceded after the 60th minute this year? (aleague & cup games)
I'll check it out
Here's a stat. My 6 and a half month old son has never seen the jets win a match
Are there any fixtures / team that we actually have more goals for and less bookings then the opposition since the begininng of the aleague?
Awesome 2/3 of the defunct teams.
So we just conceded our 350th A-league goal according to fox, how many games have we played?
As of last weekend's result
ADELAIDE - Fewer goals, more cards
BRISBANE - Fewer goals, more cards
GYPOS - Fewer goals, more cards
GOLD COAST - Fewer goals, 1 fewer card
CITY/HEART - More goals, more cards
VICTORY - Equal goals, more cards
FURY - More goals, fewer cards
KNIGHTS - More goals, fewer cards
GLORY - Fewer goals, more cards
SYDNEY - Fewer goals, more cards
NIX - Fewer goals, more cards
WANDERERS - Fewer goals, more cards
Anyone know how I can post a graph on the forum? I've some stats I'd like to share
Hmmm, I'm getting some error. The picture is only 109KB. Surely it can take more than that?
Upload it to imgur and post it that way.
OK, I've been wondering how we have progressing when compared to other seasons so I took my data and replicated each season and the points we had after each round.
As you can see, we're a long way off our previous worst season, Season 4. We are 7 points behind.
Anyway, something I found interesting and thought I'd share

Also, this is a graph of our average goals for and against per game. Clearly our worst season as well. Funnily enough Season 2 and Season 3 are the only seasons where we've finished with a positive For/against. Also I know there is an issue with Season 1. I fixed it and couldn't be bother loading and screwing around again but trust me, we were behind.

Finally, our discipline. Again Season 1 screw up but that's fixed. EVERY season we have on average received more bookings that our opposition. The trend is very interesting too and seems to match until about season 7. Since then, the average has spread more and more. This season, however, we've been blown out the water. 10 bookings for our opposition in 16 matches while ourselves receiving 45 has given us the largest gap between seasons so far. Either the referees have it in for us or we are really ill disciplined and always have been.

**** me.
thats some depressing stats.
wonder if Phil mentioned these in his mid season pow ww with the money man.
Could someone bring these up at the next members Sub-com meeting?
At the first meeting there was talk of what the club values were, I think all of these stats show that isn't happening
jeterpool, Can you do a wsw version just to maybe heklp us feel a bit better
