Didn't anyone think Steele did well?
I had high hopes for him on Saturday based on what i saw in the trial against the Nix where i thought he was one of the best on the park but sadly i think there was daylight between the two efforts.Quote:

Carney was really good in the second half though, so he might have just been making Steele look a bit better.
Overall, i certainly wouldnt be dropping him from the first team because of his performance. I saw enough on that combination to give me hope that our left hand side will be hard to handle this year.
Steele was ok but not up to the standard he displayed against the Nix. I realyy hope he and Carney can continue to develop as a combination.
One thing that is very noticable with Steele: he has a real go.
